CARTER'S POV

After my phone call with my moma last night, I was still mad as hell the call dropped. Today I got up & washed my face & brushed my teeth then headed downstairs to fix me & Kai something to eat. I made waffles, bacon & cut up some fresh fruit. I went & woke Kai up & we sat in the living room & watched "A Different World" for a while then we took a shower & got dressed.

Today we were having Kai a little welcome home party & so we headed over her mom's house. Nobody was there yet but Dee & Rhia. "Hay y'all Rhia said while setting up stuff in the kitchen. "Hay we both said in unison. "Baby sis, so today the family coming over, & by family I mean Aunt Ratha, Lil Ral, Aunt Gina, Elizabeth, Aunt Janie, Uncle Handy, Wesley, Samantha, Jonathan, Uncle Lyle, Jay & Shawn." Dee said. "Ok, I'm kinda remembering what you told me about them, Aunt Gina, Uncle Lyle, Jay, & Shawn are a family & we like them & Aunt Janie, Uncle Handy & their kids are stuck up & we don't like them while Aunt Ratha is an alcoholic, Lil Ral a theif & ha husband tried to rape me." Kai said looking confused. "Yeah baby girl you remembering." Dee said smiling. Mama T. ran to the store to get some more drinks, because she knows Aunt Ratha gone drink them up." Rhia said. "Girl you don't even know aunt Ratha, Hush!" Dee said. "So, yo moma filled me in before she left." Rhia said.

"Anyways, what we having to eat gd?!" Tony said walking through the door. "Man, there you go already being doggish, come help me put all these drinks in the cooler & put ice on them." Dee said. "Where Kenna at?" Kai asked. "She will be here in a minute, she had to go do something for ha mama, & I couldn't go because you know ha moms don't like the kid." Tony said. "I can only imagine why." I said laughing. "Man whatever, ha mama gone have to love me, cause I'm marrying Kenna ass." Tony said. "Aww, that's so sweet Tony." Kai said smiling. "Well thanks, & I want you to be the maid of honor, Rhia gone be a bridesmaid, already know Carter gone be my best man & my Dee gone be what he always wanted to be, a flower girl." Tony said laughing. We all was in that hoe straight dead. "Man fuck you, let's get to work." Dee said waving Tony off heading to the back porch.

Kai & I sat down & watched "Criminal Minds" for a good while then I heard the door open it was mama Toya, of course she had a thousand damn bags & it would only be right if I got my ass up & helped her take them into the kitchen. We finally finished unloading the car for what seemed like for fucking ever then I helped her put everything where it needed to go. "Thank you son, you're very helpful, unlike Dee always gone somewhere ass." She said. "Ma, hope you know I can hear you." Dee said from the porch. "Hell, I was hoping you would." She said. We just laughed & started getting everything ready.

3 HOURS LATER

DEE'S POV

The door rang so I went to the door & the first muthafuckas here was Aunt Janie Nem, Uncle Handy still lame as hell & ha kids still wack as hell. "Hi, Devon" she said. "Hay Aunt Janie." I said. "Where's mother?" she asked. "Where she always is damn!" I said. "Devon watch your mouth!" I heard my mama yell. "Toya, Devon is so disrespectful!" she yelled walking into the kitchen. "& you so annoying!" I yelled back. "Dee you got 1 more time." my mama yelled back. Uncle Handy just shook his head & walked to the back. "I don't why the hell you shaking yo bald ass head." I said under my breath. "Don't speak about my father like that, just because you don't have one." Jonathan said. I been waiting to do this shit for so long, I punched him dead in his face, I busted his lip & had his nose bloody.

"Bitch, who the fuck you talking to like that?! Nigga I will kill you!" I screamed looking down on the floor at him. Next thing I know Elizabeth punches me in the eye, everything happened so fast all I seen was Rhia running up beating the fuck out of Elizabeth! "That's right bae, beat that bitch ass, dumb ass hoe punched me." I yelled. "Carter ran over & separated them & not one scratch was on my baby she went upstairs to get herself together & I followed.
