Today is the day that I become a freshman in High School. It's one of the most mind throbbing thing I've ever had happen to me within 2 months, summer break.

Bzzz- bzzz-bzzz.. My alarm clock blares the loud buzzing noise that I've woken up to for 3 years. Today is the day- repeats in my head. I pull myself off of the bed and go to the bathroom. I walk to my room staggering  due to me being tired. I go through the section of my closet that had my new clothes in.  I throw on a light pink/pastel crop top, and skater skirt. I then put on my converse shoes. I brush out my bright red hair and curl it messily, like I usually do whenever I'm flustered.

Put on some makeup, got everything ready, checked the time and I was out the door. As I'm walking down the street I feel confident. I felt confident, pretty, and hopeful for the new journey I was going on. I walk down take a right and continue to walk 2 streets over to my bus stop. I gaze over the new little kids going to be new in the Middle School, which means they were going to be in 5th grade, or they were just some younger new kids.

The bus drove down the street turned around, make a few stops, then hit my bus stop. Some of the smaller kids got on first then I got on. I felt like there was 10 people watching me because of how my look had  changed over the summer. I didn't pay attention to them, I just kept my eyes on my best friend- Grey. I walked down the aisle and sat beside Grey and hugged her. "I missed you so much!" says Grey as we hug. "I missed you too!".
