It was.. him.. I couldn't believe it. It was Tyson. Me and Tyson had known each other since we were really young. Well, I've liked him ever since then. He was in the room with the others who were there to support. I didn't think he would be there because he has a girlfriend, and all we do when we talk is literally smile at each other from across the room. My face turned as red as a cherry, and the white bandages that almost matched my pale face make it easier to see. One of my friends Kayla came to me and gave me the things she had gotten for me. "Hey, how are you feeling?" she asked, and seemed very interested to know. "I'm ok right now, the wounds aren't very sore." I replied. She told me her classes and everyone thats in them, then had to go back to her other friends. About 12 people came to me and asked me how I was, or told me to power through it. There was only 3 more people who haven't talked to me yet. Tyson, his girlfriend Emily, and Emily's best friend. Emily's best friend never really ever talks/talked to me before, or known something personal about me. It was like that with Emily also. Tyson walked over to me while the girls were playing around in the storage cabinets. "Hey" he says with his soft, and calmed voice. "How are you feeling?" he asked as he sat on the bed beside my legs. He had a sincere smile, which I don't see much. I noticed his certain smile and can't help but to smile as best as I could with the wounds on my face. "Hey..." I move my hair out of my face. "I'm doing a lot better than I was earlier." I explained. "That's amazing!" he says in his always happy smile. "Lots of people were worried about you, and you know, you're a good friend of mine so I was pretty worried about you." He says with full expression of "obviousness". I felt my face shadow with red once more. I didn't think I was that important to him. As the moment was passing I realized that he was looking at my bandages. "That must have been a pretty bad accident huh.. and it's kind of weird that you're the only one who got hurt." He said in a curious tone. "Yeah, thats kind of messed up. You'd figure that other people would be-" Emily interrupted me.

"You've been talking to him a lot, so you're obviously ok." Emily said with her bratty voice. Tyson looks at Emily and says "Well, if she wasn't hurt then why is she still here? Obviously she's pretty hurt." Emily rolls her eyes. "I'm pretty sure there's lots of other people who got hurt also, so let's go see them." Emily grabs Tyson's hand and attempts to pull him away. Tyson quickly grabs my cold-from-bloodloss hand, and my face caught on fire, but not an intense fire that would cause pain, a fire that fills you with energy, a fire of "roses". His warm hand heated my freezing finger tips. "Jayda is the only one who got injured, and she's one of my best friends, I'm not just going to get up and leave like that! And I don't like you talking to her to, or about her like that either. She may mean nothing to you, but without this girl in the hospital bed, I wouldn't smile every day." Emily looked at her friend and took a step back. "Ok.. well.. I'm sorry" She looked away. "I guess" Emily had said under her breath. I stood up out of my hospital bed, trying to not look at Tyson, and faced towards Emily. "Get out." I pointed to the door. "Why do I have to get-" Emily tried to say until I disrupted her. "I said get out!" My voice raised. "Emily just go! Jayda has just expierenced something that could scar her for life, and got a face injury, and multiple bruises and cuts, and was on medicine for about an hour. She's going through a whole shit ton of stuff that could affect her future. This is her hospital room, this room is in title to this room, now if she says get out just get the hell out!" Tyson exclaimed in full emotion. Emily just stood there giving him a snobby look and finally exited the room.

I stared at Tyson with an overpowered look, and with relief. Tyson walked over to me and helped me lay back down. "I'm sorry about that.. I know you guys are together, I'm so sorry. It's my fault." I say looking and my hands. "It's ok, don't be sorry, thats the least you have to be right now. Sometimes she gets an attitude, which those times I don't like very well." Tyson responded and scooted closer. "You want to know what I really think of her?" He said and raised his eyebrows. "I.. Uh, sure." I responded thinking about all of the possibilities. "Well.. I've liked her since I was around 12 years old, which was like 6th grade. She's pretty, smart, and kinda funny." He explained. Did he really just say that infront of me? I thought to myself. "She dated about 3 people before me of that school year, and we started dating the first week of October. Her best friend told me multiple times about how she didn't want me, and how she wanted her old boyfriend, then I got her a necklace that had a cursive E on it, and was shiny. After then she didn't talk about him no more." He explained then chuckled. I was honestly jealous that he was talking about the good stuff right now, right in front of me. "Wait so she went from guy, to another guy then you, in only 2 months?" I asked trying not to stay quiet. "Yeah, I just couldn't resist her. She's short, and she's got a nice butt too." He smiled and said. I chuckled and then looked to the side with a sad tone. He started to talk again and I looked back at him. "After about 3 weeks, she seemed to fall for me more. Then shortly after that, she didn't seem as interested anymore. She had started to talk about others again, and leaving me to talk to other guys." Tyson had explained. "Emily's best friend likes Emily's old boyfriend, then they hooked up, the best friend- not Emily and him. Thats when Emily kind of lost interest once again." Tyson said and looked around the room. "Then what?.. Did she start talking to her ex again?" I asked. "Hah, thats what happened, she actually cheated on me with-" Tyson was saying until I stopped him. "Wait! She cheated on you!? Why are you still with her then?" My voice rose and softened as I spoke. "I worked too hard to get her. Then she wanted me back because the best friend had something going on with Emily's ex-" Tyson said and then put his hands on his head looking downward. "This is too confusing." He said and I nodded. "Let's get straight to it, I don't like her because she copies your style." He said and I felt like I flashed away from existence.

What?.. So he dislikes her because she copies my style, and my ways?.. My likes and loves? So many things were going on in my head. "Hold on, hold on.. You mean.. In a good way or bad way? Is my style alright?" I started pouring out questions and held my head with my hands. I sighed and looked up at Tyson. "What, no. I actually kinda like your style. It looks amazing on you." Tyson spoke and as he proceeded I could see his face turning red. My face turned red as well, hearing that he had somewhat of an interest in me. "Wow-" I started to talk but a doctor walked in disrupting me. "Great news, Jayda!" The doctor had started to explain what the good news was. "You can go home today! Actually you can go right now if you wanted too! All was wrong is some scratches and some bruises, no major harms to your body!" I had already pretty much knew there was nothing wrong, I just went along with it. But, finally, I can get some clothes on. "Go ahead and get dressed, and gather your things and meet me at the front lobby!" The doctor said with a smile and walked out of the room. "I'll get your stuff, go ahead and get dressed, I'll be outside of the door." Tyson said and grabbed my bags and left. I get up, got dressed and walked out. Tyson was standing there waiting for me, when I walked out his face just lit up with happiness that I was actually alright. Me and Tyson walked to the lobby, said goodbye to the doctor, and exited the hospital. The beautiful color of fall calmed me down all the way. The sweet smell of crisp leaves, and the warm wind just took me away from the nervous state I was in. Tyson looked at me and noticed how relaxed I changed to. He smiled and "Accidently" bumped our hands together. My face turned extremely red and I was ripped out of my calm state to a nervous state. "I'm sorry" I said and backed up and looked the opposite direction. Tyson laughed and said "It's alright, that was on me." I looked back at him and stepped back up to him. "I don't have a ride.." I said, and also said "Sh*t." under my breath.
