June nodded, as she was still in possession of her daughter, still holding her, her head buried in her chest, “You mentioned also? Was this in relation to my family?”
The young woman nodded, “Your son was summonsed previously. He was taken by a novice in the ambulance on the way here. But I reassure you she made the right choice. As her actions were being monitored by a Superior.”
The mother now couldn’t help but cry, as tears – even as spiritual energy as she was, started to fall down her cheeks. “We only wanted to go to the shop. Isn’t that stupid?” She said weeping. “Told my husband I’d be back in 10 minutes. It was Paul’s fourth birthday. I had wanted to spend time with my husband after that. Didn’t even really need to go? There was no urgency. Could have done it just as easily tomorrow?”
The Angel nodded, sympathetically, “I must go now, Mrs Collins. And you must turn your daughter over to my Care. After which I will reunite your soul with your body.”
June nodded, if reluctantly, “How is it I am here Artesia, if I hadn’t been awakened?”
The girl smile politely, understandably at her, “Sometimes a mother’s love for her child can make this happen.” And then again she asked for her child.
And looking at her husband, who looked back at her lost, his appearance very, very miserable, she kissed her daughter on the head and said, “You must go with this nice woman. She will take good care of you.”
“No, Mummy, I won’t go without you and Daddy! I won’t go!” The little 7 year old girl whimpered uncontrollably.
With that, Artesia tried to pry her away, and as soon as she did, Bedlam broke out! An alert was signalled, and moments later medical staff in green attire were running in the door, causing the child to become even more frantic! Senior voices raised high requiring fast actions!
