Chapter 4

Today we had to go to work at Achievement Hunter once again today. Gavin nudged me, but I just rolled over and groaned.

"Ally?"

I mumbled something that even I didn't understand. I pulled the covers up to my face and snuggled up to Gavin.

"Ally. Time to wake up."

"No," I mumbled, barely understandable.

I then felt him get out of bed and there was a silence. I opened my eyes slightly and saw Gav staring down at me with those eyes. I closed them tightly again and snuggled up to the blankets. "Why?" I asked, my voice muffled.

"You know why love. Come on baby get up!"

I groaned slightly and slowly got out of bed. I was stumbling slightly, and my vision was yet to come to me 100%. I rubbed my eyes and that's when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, pulling me off the ground and spinning me. I giggled loudly grabbing onto the hands. "Stop!" I giggled loudly. "Put me down!" Gavin then spun me to face him, but lifted me once again. His hands were under my thighs, holding me to his waist. He forced my legs to wrap around him as I felt my face turn bright red. "Put me do--" was all that I was able to choke out because his lips crushed to mine. I smiled half way in between as he slowly let my feet touch the floor again.

"You awake now?" he breathed in that thick accent. I felt my heart flutter.

"Yeah. I guess so," I laughed.

"Come on. Go get dressed love!" He kissed the base of my throat, and I let out a slight cry. He giggled and walked over to the closet.

I went into the bathroom and took a shower. I stood in the warm water when I saw a shadow come across the curtain.

"Gavin?" I called out thinking he was trying to play a joke. "Stop kidding around.

I heard the door click, and I began to get nervous. I rinsed off and threw on my bath robe. I then saw a sheet of paper under my phone, along with a note written the phone itself. I opened the piece of paper, and it was the same note I had gotten at work. Then...I silently read the note on my phone.

There's my sweet girl! You didn't forget about me did you? Oh, please tell me you didn't. You're probably wondering who I am aren't you? Well my sweet, you will find out soon enough. Now keep this a secret little girl. You don't want a replay of what happened a little while ago now do you? Don't worry. Keep it quiet, and no one will kidnap you or your precious little husband again. But honey, I can't say the same thing if you blab. Do as you will Alissa.

I deleted the note and ripped up the paper into small pieces, throwing it in the trash. I had a feeling this was just someone playing a trick on me, probably Gavin or Michael, but just in case I wasn't going to risk Gavin's life on anything.

I got dressed in a Rage Quit shirt and a pair of jeans. I put my hair up in a side ponytail and wore a pair of Uggs. I wore Gavin's creeper necklace and smiled wide. I still held that one object closer to me than anything else, well other than my wedding rings.

I pushed on the door that way I could get out, but it wouldn't open. I pushed on it a little more, but it still wouldn't move. I began beating on it. What the hell?!

"Gavin!" I yelled beating on the door some more. "Open the door!"

Nothing.

I grabbed my phone and dialed Gavin's cell. He never goes anywhere without it.

It answered on the first ring.

"Ally?"

"Where are you?"
