After Selena looked at the papers that were mailed to her about what her mother said about her, Selena teared down every picture of her and her mother and was in tears and packed all of her stuff while tearing up. She couldn't believe all of the paper work and ran off to be with her dad and her new siblings from her new family. Selena showed all of the papers to her dad while Selena stayed at her dad's place. "She thinks you're a mistake?" Her dad asked while feeling bad for his daughter. Selena squeezed her hair from running all the way to her dad's house while it was raining. "I guess I am one dad...." Selena said. Her dad Luke sighed and helped her dry her hair. "You aren't a mistake princess... I'll take good care of you. I promise. I won't hurt you like she did." Luke wrapped a blanket around his daughter and hugged her tight. Selena was so angry at her mother. When Selena was upstairs, she got her notebook out and kept on turning the pages in it and wrote a new song after she was annoyed one night. Selena couldn't help it but cried for awhile.
Selena was devastated, angry, upset, hurt from re-reading the papers. She threw them in the trash and burned it to pieces. After that her dad came in the room with some hot chocolate to calm her down. Her father Luke rocked her back and forth. Selena fell asleep in his arms tearing up. Luke kept wiping away her tears all night and stayed by her side. The next day Selena's father went with Selena back to work on tour and Selena stayed quiet while on rehearsal and tried her best to focus after flashback after flashback has hurt her. When Selena rehearsed Transfiguration, she started crying. She went to her dressing room and broke down in complete tears. Her dad Luke and her close friends in her dressing room were all comforting Selena.
On each tour act that Selena switches her outfits to her tour, Selena's phone rang and it was her mother and she was also texting her. Selena closed her eyes for awhile and looked at the missed calls and text messages. Selena's eyes were filled with anger and turned off her phone while she was on tour and drank her water bottle to enjoy herself on stage. After her concert ended, Selena turned her phone on again and ignored her mother's text messages. She was mad at her mom and decided not to reply to her messages till Selena is ready to forgive her, which she isn't.
Selena then putted away her phone while doing her meet and greets with her fans and even though her phone kept buzzing with her mother's text message and calls. Selena went to enjoy her night. While Selena was still at the arena, her mother sighed at her home while trying to call up her daughter. She tried to keep calling Selena every single minute. "Selena, answer the phone please." Mandy said while sighing. "I never meant to call you a mistake. You were my first child..." Mandy said to herself.
Selena then called her mother back after getting her concert done. "You called me a mistake even when I'm your first child?! Thanks a lot for bringing my mood down all day. I'm not coming home to you till you stop calling me a mistake." Selena said on phone. "Selena... you aren't a mistake... I'm so sorry... I still do care about you honestly." Mandy said while tearing up on the phone. "Oh really?! Then what was all that paper work that got sent to me in the mail? My thoughts exactly." Selena said. "Selly... you aren't a mistake. I love you princess...." Mandy told Selena. "Prove it then and stop sending me paper work that I'm not your child!" Selena then hangs up the phone while feeling angry. Mandy starts to cry after Selena hung up the phone and looks at Selena's baby picture and hugs it. Selena deleted all of the pictures of her and her mother on her phone.
When Mandy was at her own home, she picked up Gracie and held her in her arms. "You look like your big sister although I let her down and didn't mean to. I wish I never sent her those paperwork." Mandy sighed and hugged Gracie and kissed her hair. After Selena finished up her Asia/Australian Revival World Tour Leg, Selena came home to her mother and only helped her without her speaking to her mother. "I'm so glad you came home Sel..." Mandy said with a smile even though she tried to get her daughter to talk to her. Selena just nodded and put Gracie down for a nap.
Mandy sighed and looked down. "Selly can we please talk in the kitchen?" Her mom asked in a soft tone voice. Selena rolls her eyes and went with her mom after putting Gracie down for a nap. "What do you need mom?" Selena said. "Listen Sel, I'm sorry for everything I did to hurt you. Remember what I said to you when you were just a baby, that I would do anything and I mean anything to make everything up to you if I hurt you?" Her mother said. "I was just a baby and I didn't even understand what was even happening after I came out till all the paperwork got sent to the mail to me. After what was mailed to me, you ended up hurting me and having to stay with dad because of what you did was messed up and wrong of you." Selena said. "Selena, I'm not trying to be a bad mother to you. I want what's best for you and for me to still be in your life. You will always be my little girl no matter what happens to you." Mandy said to her daughter. Selena was hit hard in the guts with what her mother said in the end. "If I'm really your little girl, you wouldn't have done this." Selena said and walked out of the kitchen. Selena kissed Gracie on the cheek goodnight and went to go home to her dad. Selena went home feeling devastated but she tried to stay strong for herself and for her dad and Gracie.
Her father made Selena and himself dinner. "You and your mom got to talk?" Her father asked. "Yeah." Selena said while eating her spaghetti. "How was it?" Her father said. "If I really was her little girl, she wouldn't have made this stupid messed up move but it's whatever dad. I thought this is something easy to forgive her for but this time not really." Selena said while eating. "Since your on break from tour till next month, you can just visit your mom to help out with your sister and then stay here with me till you are ready to forgive her." Her dad said. Selena nods and finishes her dinner and got ready for bed. Selena tried to sleep all night but couldn't.
The very next day, Selena woke up feeling s lil tired from a lack of sleep but went to go get ready to go to her mom's house to help out with her sister. Selena didn't wanted to go back to her mom's place but her little sister needs her. This was something she can't fight with. "Good morning princess." Mandy said while kissing Selena's hair. "Yeah, hi mom." Selena said not much of a happy tone voice. "Still mad?" Mandy asked. Selena just sighed and helped her with Gracie all day. "Maybe, that's a yes." Mandy said while looking down. "Me coming here to help you with Gracie, doesn't mean that I don't care about my family because I do care. You have to be the one to prove that what you did was a huge mistake." Selena said. "I'll do everything I can to make this up to you Sel." Mandy said. "Sure you will, yet I'm the one who gets scolded by everything and gets the blame for it." Selena said while rolling her eyes. "Selena, princess listen, I love you with all my heart and you will always be my first baby since you were born. I've been holding on to your baby pictures for important reasons." Mandy said while looking at Selena. "Mom .... if you really loved me as your child, you shouldn't have sent me those papers." Selena said while leaning against the kitchen counter. "Whoever you want to stay with, I just want what's best for you mija." Mandy said.
