Although Selena's mother tried to apologize for what she did in the previous day, it all came down to Selena not being able to forgive what her mother did to her that was so unforgivable because it left a huge torn mark on Selena inside her heart. But since she's still her daughter, it had to take more than one week for Selena to get herself together to forgive her mother. Although it still affected Selena, she didn't wanted her mother to blame herself because Selena knew her mother will have depression if she loses her.
Selena didn't wanted to push away her mother after what she did to her. This was something that stabbed Selena right in the guts. When Selena stayed with her mother, she didn't know when it was time to forgive her. Selena stayed in her room all day and just took a rest and a break from her Revival World Tour. Selena then looked up some videos of other kids dealing with their parents and some parents leaving a sad note to their kids for their own mistake. Selena felt bad for her mother for not being able to forgive her. When Selena got out of her room she went downstairs and sat on one of the steps on the stairs and noticed her mother cooking. When Selena went downstairs, she looked at the baby picture of her mother holding her when she was a baby and sat on the couch and caressed the picture with her fingertips. Selena's mother knew how her daughter hasn't been feeling lately and she stopped cooking the food and went to comfort her daughter Selena.
"Selena, look, I know how mad you are at me, and I understand how hurt and upset you are. All I want is for me to still be in that important life of yours. I know I was wrong about what I did to you. Whoever you want to stay with, I just want what's best for you and for you to be happy." Mandy said. "Mom, there are times where I will need you throughout life. I've seen so many kids without their parents and them being on there own when they aren't ready. Some of these kids don't even have parents because some passed away in front of them and these other kids haven't seen their parents because some work for the first responders or the military. I never want to put myself in that place where I don't have my mom in my life. Mom, I will always need you throughout growing up but something like this, I just can't forgive you so easily. Also if I'm mad at you because of what you did, doesn't mean that I don't care about you when I do." Selena said to her mom. "Selena, how come you never told me how you felt?" Mandy asked. "Even though you aren't around me much a lot because how busy I am, sometimes I just don't feel so important to you and that I feel like my own mother doesn't want me as her daughter anymore and that's what I'm feeling." Selena said. "Selena, sweetie, listen, I will always care about you and you will always be my first responsibility. I will always watch you grow no matter what happens to you. You are my daughter, and you will never be a mistake. I will always always need you no matter what. You are my first baby, I love you baby girl." Mandy said. Selena sighed. "I'm sorry for saying all these untrue things mom, I don't like being born with insecurities much." Her daughter said. "I know you don't princess. That's why I'm here for you and always will." Mandy said while hugging her daughter. Selena hugged her mother back tight and closed her eyes for awhile. Mandy then got up and made some warm tea to calm her daughter down. "Thanks mom, I guess."
Selena said. "Anything for you sweetie." Mandy say back on the couch next to her daughter. "Do you still think I'm a horrible mother Selena after what I've done to you so far?" Mandy asked. "Momma.... don't ever say that about yourself. You aren't a horrible mother to me. You made a mistake but I'm trying not rewind myself back to that and move on with my life." Selena says in a mature voice. Mandy nods and understands her daughter. "Since you're an adult, you're ready to take on the world because you're old enough. No matter what, I will still try my best to guide you." Selena's mother said to her daughter.
The next morning, Selena took her stuff from her dad's place and moved back in with her mom. Even though Selena hasn't forgave her mom about her mistake that she did, Selena stayed silent about it while driving from her dad's house back to her mom's house. A lot of paparazzies were surrounding Selena and getting more closer to her. Selena kept her head low and covered her face. Selena didn't knew this was a bad timing for her and the paparazzies asking her too much of personal questions about her and her mom's problems, Selena kept walking away and got home feeling tired and stayed in her room all day and stayed silent about everything that has ever happened to her.
