I gazed down at the magic that was cupped inside my hands, the blue mist swirling around as the sight of Princess Melanie came into view. I frowned as I saw tears streaming down her face, her fists balled up. I sat on the metallic chair which was placed before my desk, I suddenly smiled a little as I saw the scroll with my photo printed onto it.
I was just confused as to why someone who didn't have anything to worry about, cared so much about me? I just didn't understand.
Of course, she wasn't like her people. But it wasn't like she had to control them...she could do whatever she wanted.
When I was about to close the vision Melanie's mother walked in, or should I say her majesty?
"Melanie why are you crying?!" Her mother wondered, a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"Leave me alone mother..." Melanie mumbled whilst wiping her salty tears away.
Her mother paced back and forth before she caught the ripped scroll on Melanie's her eyes squinting before snatching the piece of paper.
"Is this what you're crying about?!" She yelled catching Melanie off guard, the younger girl just ignored her mother fed up with her constant lecturing.
"Melanie I did not raise you like this?! Who cares about the little slut?!" She yelled, Melanie pushed her mother back.
"I do! I fucking care, and no you tried to raise me like all of them! I will never be like you or them!" Melanie screamed, her mother was furious.
Her mother raised her arm before bringing it to the young girls cheek, the echoing of the slap could be heard throughout the castle.
Melanie stared at her mother in disgust.
"I hate you." Melanie snarled, her mother chuckled.
"Good." The queen snapped before walking out of the young girls room, making sure she locked the door behind her.
I could see the pain in her eyes, for some reason my heart was telling me to save her. I had to save her.
My eyes wondered around the room, the once white walls were now all full of grime and disgusting, my books I hadn't read had became covered in dust. I sighed.
"LIDO!" I yelled, standing up from my chair. I could his feet slamming onto the ground as he rushed into my room.
"Yes Ash?" He smirked knowing how much I hated it when people used my real name, I rolled my eyes.
