So basically, there is one thing that always happens in life. And that is meeting new family. You will always be meeting new family. So basically. I'm in Poland (Cześć Polacy!!) on vacation and my cousins from Cracow (Kraków actually...) drove for 6 or so hours to meet see us. They have a son and we played basketball and it was fun! (Even tho I didn't know everything that he was saying since I'm not perfect at speaking in Polish).
Tuesday I was sitting in a car for 3 long hours to get to a great aunt's house to see them. And the first thing that happens when we get there? My great uncle comes in with a huge plate of ice cream! Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE ice cream, but the flavor and company that it was just wasn't my thing. I'm a picky eater ok? So I reject his offer and he's just like: (in Polish)
"What kind of girl are you that doesn't like ice cream! Here have some! Take it! Go on take it!"
And he goes on like this with a heavy plate of ice cream in his hands in the air and I just say firmly: No. He thought I didn't like ice cream just cuz of that one time that I said no. And it wasn't just ice cream that he did that....
*Flashback*
Breakfast: "Only one handful of cereal? What are you doing? Trying to starve yourself? Take another handful!"
Lunch: "Only 4 sandwiches? Are you trying to starve yourself? Take 2 more!"
Dinner: "Only 1 piece of chicken and 1 scoop of mashed potatoes?! Are you crazy? You're trying to starve yourself to death!"
Yup.
He also did this to my mom, grandma, brother, and get this, his wife. Like God! A person could only eat so much!
And we stayed there until Thursday. So not much to talk about on Wednesday and Thursday... Besides the 3 hours back home...
My mom and my brother went shopping. We came back and I sat down, got on my phone, and started the blog! So here I am in the present writing a blog.
