When Everything Changes

Chapter 5 (most in jakes point of view!)

Hey, just me again. Please answer my texts. We really need to talk about last night. I sent to Jesse and Jake. I really did need to talk to them both about it. Unfortunately Jake is not talking to me because I cheated on him, and Jesse isn't because, well, I broke his damn nose. In my defense he did deserve it!

Jake hasn't been showing up at school lately. Maybe I should go and see him? I decided tht I couldn't stand this any longer and got up to see the one guy who had always been there for me when I first moved here.

From this part on (ONLY in this chapter) is Jake's point of veiw!

I cannot believe this. I am too hurt to go back. I can't see her anymore. I bet she is hooking up with Jesse right now!

Suddenly a knock came at the front door. "I'll get it!" I hollered up the stairs to my dad. My mother left me and my dad when I was only three. I keep hoping someday she'll return, but I highly doubt that will ever happen.

When I opened the door I immediately slammed the door shut in the face that was staring back at mine. The face belonged to Lizzie. She knocked again and slowly I opened the door just a crack so she could hear me, "get the fuck off of my property!"

"Jake, please. We really need to talk. i dont know what came over me last night. I am so sorry Jake you cannot believe how much I hate myself for this! please open the door," she pleaded.

It was raining outside so I decided to be the bigger person and let into my home. Quickly saying," you have ten minutes."

"Jake, I'm so sorry. You don't have to forget, but please forgive me?" she asked hope glistening in her words.

"You really expect my to forgive you for sleeping with my best friend. Who, might I add, is no longer even an aqaintance anymore!" I screamed back at her.

"Look, at least tell me where we stand now in our relationship. I know that I love you, Jake. I thought you loved me too?"

"I do," I replied then quickly changed my mind. "Did." I looked away from her. "We are done. the relationship we once had is over now. your time is up. you need to leave now."

Before I could protest she leaned forward and softly kissed my cheek. I heard a faint "i love you" leave her lips before she walked out of my front door.

I can't believe she had the nerve to how up here and ask me where we stand after what happened last night! I hope she can't live with herself for doing this to me!

Remember this chapter only is written in Jake's perspective and now he will no longer be in the rest of the story unless I decide to write an epilogue at the end.

Just for future notice• I would like to have this story be at least 10 chapters long and no more than maybe 15-20.
