November POV (as usual)

We walked into Walgreens and I, being me, walked immediately to the makeup section. Drugstore makeup is just as good as high end makeup. I am not trying to be over here buying expensive mascara and foundation. As I walked toward it Adande grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the toilet paper section.

"Hey I was gonna go there!" I yelled.

"Resist the force young one." He says.

"What the fuck are we doing here anyways?"

"We are helping you get over Zikomo."

"Ummm? Can we just forget about him?" I say whining, glancing at the makeup.

"Nope. Guess what we are going to do?" he says with fire in his eyes

"Look Adande... I do not want no trouble." I say warning him.

"Oh please November, how many times can you lie to the same man? ANYWAY. Grab as much toilet paper as possible."

"Why?" I ask genuinely confused.

"We are gonna teepee his house. RIght now."

"Won't he be home or his family?" I say trying to tear down the plan.

"His parents are on vacation and the school livestream of prom shows him yelling at Angela and beating the shit out of Dustin right now." Adande says to happily.

"Oooh. Let me see." I say a little too eagerly.

Adande lets me watch the prom on his phone while he grabs a bunch of toilet paper. Walking to check out the glorious makeup section glares at me but I resist. The lady at the checkout center gave me and Adande a smirk, knowing what we were going to do. She didn't say anything but smiled at us like we were a newlywed couple. Driving down long empty roads the quiet slowly peers in but it's no longer dreadful. Now it has a little bit of peace to it. As we pull up in front of Zikomo's house memories of happy times flood back I fight the tears and get out of the car.

"Roll of toilet paper gorgeous?" Adande says on his tippy toes handing me a roll.

"Gladly." I smirk while taking it. I launch the roll high in the air and getting over a tree. Adande throws a bunch more in the air. We rip pieces up and throw them all over his lawn. Everywhere is covered in toilet paper. I wipe off some sweat when Adande runs up from behind and picks me up.

"Hey!" I yell.

"Awww. Is the little girl scared?" He says pursing his lips.

"Nope. Watch this." I say.

I throw with all of the power and strength I had in my arm. All of my anger and stress was released onto that white roll and submerged onto that pigs house. All the memories, all the tears, all the laughs, I was giving back to him.

Adande and I were on our last pack. I reached for it but Adande holds my hands. He looks me straight in the eyes and holds me closer. We both lean in.

"AGGHGHGIG DRYSTIX." The sprinkler system turned on. Within a matter of seconds the moment was ruined. I grabbed Adande's arm and ran to the car.

This hair is not getting wet today." I say.

I step in the car and we both shut the door. There is a moment of silence, and all I can think about is how if I do not do what I want to do now, I will regret it in the long run. So I grab his shirt, pull him in real close and kiss him. Blood rushes through my veins, and I can feel my stomach drop. In that moment, I forgot my past. In that moment I forgot who I was and why I was in the driveway of my ex with my new love. I forgot everything. I only saw my future, with this human whose soft lips were glued to mine. And that future would be, forever and always.
