Sans led you all throughout Snowdin, explaining each place so you could understand and remember them. You held on to each word, not understanding why. Soon enough, you sat on a log, rubbing your legs and fixing a bandage on your splint.
"So, how do you like Snowdin?"
"I love it! It's so chilling!" you laugh, moving over to let the skeleton sit beside you.
He laughed, his smile seeming to fade. "What was your dream about?"
You froze, rubbing the back of your neck. Sighing, you look at him with a pained look. "Can we talk about this when we get back home? I don't feel comfortable talking about this in public."
Sans laughed, but nodded. "We're in the middle of the forest. I'll respect your privacy, though."
Silence overtook the conversation, letting you enjoy the area with the skeleton. Then, out of nowhere, a pair of hands pulled you up, making you yelp.
"Sans! What are you doing?"
He said nothing, only pulled you towards a huge patch of ice. Before he stepped on it, he made sure you stopped walking. Then, he skated around, laughing.
You laugh at him, taking a couple of steps back. As you did, Sans pulled you on the ice, too, making you gasp in surprise. Hanging on to his hoodie, you let him skate the two of you around.
He laughed, resting his hands on your sides. "Come on, (Y/N), just relax. I'm here to catch you if you need me."
Nodding, you slowly let go, feeling him slow behind you. You start out slow, letting the feeling of skating start to feel natural. Looking back at Sans, he smiled at you, giving you a thumbs up. Smiling back, you feel snow touch your feet, and you slowly, fell after they got stuck.
Arms caught you, turning you over so you were looking up. "Woah, (Y/N), slow down. You don't wanna fall for me that easily."
He winked, trying to bring you to your feet. Sans slipped, flipping the two of you so you were on top. He grunted as he fell into the snow with your weight on him.
"S-sorry!" you say, sitting on his hipbone.
He propped himself up on his elbows, looking you in the eye. His face turned a light blue, and he cleared his throat. "Y-your fine. Just, uh, don't freak out."
Confusion sunk into your mind as Sans rested his hand on your cheek, gently pulling you down. Your muzzle got closer to his teeth, and you felt your breathing slow to a stop.
Suddenly, a twig cracked, making Sans let his hand fall off of your cheek. You got off of him, watching as he stood up, his Gaster Blaster showing up above you.
A few figures came out of the bushes. A blue fish with red hair, a white goat, and a small creature.
"Sans, what are you doing out here?" the fish asked as Sans let his Blaster disappeared.
You stood up behind him, and he pulled you up beside him.
"Guys, this is (Y/N). Alphys is having me watch her for a while. (Y/N), these are some of my friends: Undyne, Toriel, and Frisk," he gestured to each of them as he said their names.
Waving at them, you watch as Frisk met your eye, making you feel a wave of nausea go through you. You rest your hand on the side of your head, watching Toriel kneel down next to the child.
"Forgive me if I sound offensive," you start, "but what kind of creature is Frisk?"
The child smiled, leaning into the goat. She signed a few symbols to her, making her chuckle lightly. "My child is a human."
