Young Aiden's POV

"Aita we have to get away he's getting close," I said pulling her arm for her to catch up

"Aiden I need to catch my breath I can't keep running," she pleaded

"Do you want to go back to that place," I said turning around

"You go ahead there's no reason of both of use getting catch," tears rolling down her cheek

"If you get catch than I get catch too. I'll never leave you behind. Now get on my back," I asked

"Why!

"Just do it I told I would prospect you and that's what I doing just get on my back ok," I yelled

"I was going to do it! You didn't have to yell at me," she said  climbing on my back

""Sorry let go," I said running with her on my back

Just when we thought we where safe I see them at the end of the street. I turn around to get punch in the face by Jasper. Aita falls off my back and hits the floor. Than I get punched in my stomach that brings me down to my knee. I tried to get up when blows start to come from all directions. I can see Aita getting kicked. She tried to shield herself. Than everything goes black.

Fast forward 5 months later

I wake in a hospital room not knowing who I was l. No came to visit me but I became best friends with the kid next to me. He told me my name was Aidan because that's what my visitor would call me. He assumed we knew each other. His name is Domenico said never got the girls name but she was around our age. I waited for this girl to return but that never happen. Than Domenico's family took me in cause so had no where to go. With in a few weeks I was adopted.

For years we tried to find my family and even that little girl that was at my bed side from the moment I arrived at the hospital. All they told my new family  was that we came in together and I was badly hurt. When she was healed she would be at my bed side crying and praying for me to wake up. That's how they got my first name. I was called John Doe for long time until a nurse over heard her say "Aiden you can't leave me you promise you'll always protect me!" She wouldn't let anyone touch me unless she approved. The hospital staff would let her stay visit me and they said she slept in my room.  The last time they saw her visit me was before I woke up. She could be the key to my past.
