Sinamyo ko ang malamig na hangin dala ng tahimik na gabi kung nasaan ako. Kasalukuyan akong naka-pwesto sa rooftop ng isang building sa Prefecture 3.

"I miss this silence, the breeze slowly blowing and the trifling feeling when I was about to give an express ticket to hell." I grin maniacally.

I'm all set, gun at the ready. There is only one thing lacking and that's the target. He's yet to arrive. I just came here too early. I can clearly see him from here. He's a VIP at the party held on the penthouse at the hotel across. And most of all, he's one of the big time bosses of Shadow Org here in Philippines.

This night is the start to spread my wrath. This time, it will be the Shadow Org who will feel my terror and experience my mercilessness. This is for taking Jana from us and for all of our loss. This is my revenge.

Habang hindi pa dumating ang target ay ini-enjoy ko na muna ang katahimikan ng gabi. Katahimikan na nakasanayan ko na sa mahabang panahon. Katahimikan na akala ng lahat ay nakakapagdulot ng katiwasayan subalit hindi nila alam na sa likod ng katahimikan ay nagtatago ang panganib. Na ang inaasahan ng lahat na masayang party ay mauuwi pala sa isang malagim na trahedya. Tragedy that will be done by the infamous assassin after taking for a short break. When they thought that it's safe, that's the time I will attack. I won't let anyone see through all of my moves.

"I never thought I can find you here, Aries."

Tinapunan ko ng tingin ang nagsalita. Novie walk towards me with no expression at all. I sense her coming here at the rooftop but I don't know her reason.

"You too, Novie." Bumaba ako sa kinauupuan ko at tumayo sa tabi niya sa gilid ng rooftop.

"What are you doing here?" Sabay naming tanong sa isa't isa.

Novie glance my things. "You don't have any command, Aries. So, why are your things at the ready?" She look at me with her brows furrow.

"My promise myself to have a revenge with what happened to Jana. And, this is it."

"Does the Grand knew about this? He will not approved something like this Aries." Novie said in a worried voice.

I pat her shoulder. "You don't have to worry. I may not have an order from the Grand but I do have an approval from the GeP." I give her a grin. "And what about you?"

She didn't reply, instead she look across the building where the party will soon start. I follow her gaze trying to see what she's looking at. And there I saw the guy that interested Novice the most, the Detective.

"You become a stalker, Novie."

"I'm not, Aries. I was about to go back to The Mansion when I saw him entering that hotel. I should have go home but from the distance I was able to tell which floor he was going. I was wondering why he was invited to a party of a Shadow member."

"I see, that's why you're here. You're going to check if something interesting will happen. And I bet there really is. Just be extra careful Novie, you don't want that guy to see you in the crime scene, don't you?"

Naglakad na ako pabalik kung saan naka-pwesto ang baril ko. Sinilip ko sa telescope ng baril ko ang paparating na sasakyan. Sa wakas, dumating na din ang target na hinihintay ko.

"Are you going to watch me, Nov?" I ask her without looking.

"No need, I know your trend Aries. Just don't mind me and do what you have to do."

"Aren't you going to stop me? Like you said, I don't have an order from the Grand or the Head Huddle." I give her a side glance.

"Even if I do report what you want to do right now, I know that won't stop you. Besides, I also wanted revenge for Jana. And I will contribute my share in avenging her death soon. With or without approval." She said without taking her eyes from the Hotel.
