"why?" you said as you lifted yourself off the ground.
"really hope no one just saw me trip over that bottle." You thought to yourself.
You started walking again when you heard footsteps running towards you.
You turned around and saw a red haired boy running towards you.
"You okay?!" He shouted, still running towards you.
"Uh, yeah. You- you uh, saw that?"
You shouted back, realizing he was close enough that you didn't have to.
He stopped quickly in front of you.
"Yeah. But, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Shocked that an attractive male human being was talking to you, you replied "Oh, well thanks." And turned around quickly because you're awkward af.
You felt the boy grab your shoulder and turn you around. "Wait, what's your name?" He said.
"Oh, uh. Y/N. What's yours?" You replied.
"Gerard." He said, holding out his hand to you.
You grabbed his hand and shook it. For some reason, you got butterflies in your stomach when you did that.
He let go when you finally realized you'd be shaking his hand for well over a minute.
"Um. So where you heading?" He asked.
"Uh, just to the library. You?" You said back.
"Oh, uh, me too! I go there all the time!" He said back, quickly.
"Who's your favorite author?" You asked him.
"um. Author?" He asked back.
"Yeah, author?" You said.
"Okay this is too hard. I just think you're really adorable and I wanted to know if you wanted to like hang out with me." He said, very fast.
"Really?" You said, feeling the blood rush to your cheeks.
"Yeah, I know we just met so if you don't wan-" he started, when you cut him off (because you're savage)
"Sure." You said, smiling.
He smiled back and started walking with you.
You couldn't stop smiling the whole way there.
Alternative ending:
gerard grabbed ur hand and he poofed a magical unicorn and you flew off into the sunset together lel.
