Initiate 'Steal Mermaids' - Chapter 5

Kageyama watched as his boss slowly left the building, taking his damn time to get in his car and leave the grounds, locking the gates and pulling onto the nearby highway. With a simple 'all good' text to two separate phones, the large utes pulled up at the aquarium gates. Using his staff ID card, he opened the gates and let them drive in. Everything was going smooth so far, and as they entered, it didn't look like anyone was going to be coming back for anything. Not even the security team were on duty. It was easy enough for Kageyama to disarm the cheap alarms, most of them were for show, expect for the ones around the merpeople exhibit.

"Alright, let's go get them, tell Daichi and Asahi to pull up around the back."

Tsukishima merely nodded and ran back out to the car park, leading the two drivers to the back of the aquarium, opening a back docking area with a copied key from Kageyama. Inside the facility, Tanaka, Noya and Kageyama were preparing secured ladders. Kageyama had already measured up each of the mermaid's weights, all being rather light considering their fins, but it was a good thing, it meant even Noya would carry Yachi out and to the ocean. As they set up the first ladder at Yamaguchis tank, Tsukishima walked in and let them know the utes were ready. Yamaguchi blushed bright as he saw Tsukishima, but brightened up, even Tsukishima did too. Letting the tall blonde carry the flustered merman to the ute, Yachi was next, carried by Noya. Yachi was a little more relaxed around Noya, and they spoke casually with each other. After that, it was Kiyoko's turn. Hesitantly, she was carried by Tanaka who simply stared at her as if she were a Queen, seemingly being very careful as he carried her. Finally, it was Sugawaras turn.

"Alright, Sugawara, you ready to be free?"

The excited merman nodded and clung to Kageyama as he carried him out, walking slowly, wanting to have time to walk.

"Sugawara ... I want to tell you something, before you leave for good. I'm sure at first, you probably hated me, since I worked at such a place for horrible people, but, I was really glad you and the others warmed up to me. It's always been a little hard for me to make friends, because I was always critiquing people. But, when I met you, I thought you were perfect, you were so different and it amazed me."

A visible blush spread across Kageyamas cheeks, looking up to look at Sugawara, as well as noticing how close they were to the dock and to Sugawara being gone forever. He bit his bottom lip and swallowed his pride, he was going to say it and he didn't care who heard.

"S...Sugawara! I'm just going to say it, I'm in love with you!"

Everyone heard, and everyone was gaping at Kageyama, especially Sugawara, but then the merman smiled widely and pressed his lips to Kageyamas softly, humming happily against his lips. When they both pulled away and he set Sugawara gently into the ute, taking a seat between he and Yamaguchi.

"I guess ... that means you like me too right?"

Off to the side, Kageyama could hear Tsukishima snort and sit between Kiyoko and Yachi, smirking a little as he winked at Yamaguchi, who blushed in turn and covered his face. Seems something was going on between them too, though Tsukishima spoke, interrupting Kageyamas train of through on the two.

"No King, he obviously kissed you because he hates you."
