A/N: I'm Australian, so the concepts (which are more American) I will be writing about in this book are kinda scratchy. IMPORTANT- the cast list for the main MAIN characters is in a future book that I have already typed up, but need to fine tune. Because I feel bad, I'll have images of all the people necessary up top.

"Blakey!" I squeal as I launch my self onto my unsuspecting best friend's back, and started messing up his hair, which I could tell he had styled to perfection, to try to make it look "accidentally sexy".

"Get off me!" He playfully shouts, and shakes me off his back gently.

"Excited?" I ask him, after we had began walking to school, which was around 30 minutes walking distance. It is pretty far, but I need the exercise, and both Blake's parents and my parents are way too busy to drop us off to school. And my twin sister, Anna, who managed to catch a ride with one of her friends, is way too popular to hang out with low-lifes like us in public.

It's not that she is a bad sister, just more that she is rather oblivious to the people around her. Some might call it selfishness, but as her sister, it is practically my duty to see the good in her.

"For what? Annoying jocks and obnoxious cheerleaders?" He snorts. "No way!"

"Well, I was talking about how exciting our first day would be at this high school, but yeah, ok. That answer is sufficient." I laugh. We had transferred schools, after our parents decided that Preparoty High School did not have enough electives.

My sister Anna has spent her whole high school life in Evedin-West High School because she passed the entry test with a higher result than me. I'm still pretty sour about that.

"So your excited?" He asks, shocked.

"Yup. But I'm kind of nervous too." I replied, as I turn to look at his face.

"Why?" He asked, causing me to sigh awkwardly.

"Never mind!" I breathed. "It's silly."

"No tell me!" He begs.

I stop walking, and a smirk creeps onto my face. "You want to know?"

He nods. I lean close to him, and he gulps uncomfortably. "Yeah."

"Well, I'm not telling you!" I smiled cheekily, before sprinting down the path, hands gripped onto the straps of my backpack as the wind bashed at my body. I heard Blake groan before chasing after me. Unfortunately, Blake was really fast at running while I was not, so he managed to catch up to me quickly, grabbing be at the waist and pulling me towards him so I couldn't move.

"I'm your best friend, Athena, you can trust me." He pleads. I puff in response. I'm definitely not running again.

"Fine, I'll tell you." I grumble. I shift my weight onto my left foot. "I don't want to lose you."
