[UNEDITED] - I know you guys haven't had a chapter from me in ages, Sorry!!!
As soon as class finished, I jumped out of my seat and full on sprinted to the toilets. I think at one point, I glanced behind me, in class, to see if Blake was staring at me, to see if he was sorry, only to see that he was totally engrossed in whatever the teacher was teaching. I guess what I said to him didn't really bother him. And that he thought that what he said to me wouldn't hurt me.
As I sniffle in the cubicle of the smelly bathrooms, I can't help but think that Blake is not to blame. Sure, he has recently been a shit best friend, a promise breaker and a lying faker, but I can't blame him for not liking me in that way. I wasn't pretty, my personality was depressing and I guess I'm kind of clingy. He was nice about letting me know that he wasn't interested, and now I just have to move on from him, get on with my life. But I don't think I can.
As I sat on the toilet seat (but not before disinfecting it) I hear loud girly chatter, which could only mean one thing. Well, actually, it could mean several things, but when your heartbroken and bawling your eyes out, you go at least slightly irrational. However my conclusion was correct, Rene, or at least just her cronies, had entered the bathroom.
"I don't get it. Sometimes Ean acts like an absolute doofus but sometimes he is super sweet." A super high voice squealed.
"Is he nice to you when you guys are alone or when you're around other people." I heard Rene and grimaced.
"Honestly, I just want to finish my makeup in peace." I hear a girl exclaim exhaustedly. "You guys have been trying to review Ean and Angela's relationship for hours." I knew her voice, she never talked to me, but she was in my chemistry class. I didn't know her name, though.
"Not me, I haven't. I swear, if Angela had come to earlier she would have either broken up with him, or frankly, stopped screeching about him. Now answer my question, Angela." Rene defended herself, and I could hear her voice rising in irritation.
"Right now, I agree with-"
"No one cares what you think, Tiffany!" Another voice I recognised, a freshman called Anna.
"Um, well I guess he is nicer to me when we're around other people. He never wants to hang out with me on dates when we are just by ourselves, and he does kind of act like he's not interested in me. Sometimes he flirts with other girls and-"
"Girl, why you still talking. Break up with him!" A senior called Chyna burst out.
"Yeah I guess so."
Jesus, I was exhausted with this huge ass conversation.
"But I really like him."
I need to escape. You know what, I don't care what happens. If I sneak outside quickly, they won't see me. However, the likeliness of that incident is very unlikely.
