He fell in love with that red.

By the time he realized everything, his eyes had already been following him. He had always ever seen just him. Only him.

He had loved that burning color– those pretty jewels which seemed too perfect on him, on his eyes. It felt as if one look of his could set him ablaze in an instant. It felt as if he would crumble away every time he glanced his way, even if he didn't mean to, even though he wasn't even precisely looking at him.

It was complicated. It was strange.

And, strangely, he loved how strange it was.

Strangely perfect.

He was too perfect... for everything... for anything... for him.

Everything seemed perfect when he touched his hand.

Everything seemed perfect when he pulled him close.

Everything seemed perfect when he locked him in his arms.

Everything seemed perfect when he kissed him.

Everything seemed perfect when he gave himself to him.

The words reverberated inside Kuroko's head like the beat of a looped song playing on a broken recorder.

He felt his stomach lurch in disgust... for himself... because he really never learned.

It made him want to just simply end everything.

Save me? Kuroko honestly wanted to laugh. Whether he was going insane or was amused, he has no idea. How could the redhead save him like what he said he was intending to do, when he couldn't even do it himself? It made his lungs constrict achingly. He wanted everything to just simply shut down. His ears. His mind. His heart. Everything.
