Chapter 5: First Kiss

It has been months since I met Kaito and everyone else.

I became a VOCALOID and everyone seemed very welcoming, especially a VOCALOID called Gumi.

And Gakupo always remained strict. He doesn't have fun with the rest of us and he always seems to spend a lot of time with Luka. I think that the two of them are dating.

I was walking with Alice and Amy on our way to school.

"You seem to spend a lot of time with Kaito and his friends lately at the weekend, maybe you could try and see if you can let us come with you sometime," Alice said.

"Yeah, so you can flirt with Len," Amy retorted.

"Len's a total cutie! How can you say that?" Alice said.

Kaito came over.

"Did I just hear someone mention Len?" Kaito asked.

"Don't worry. It's just Alice and Amy. Alice likes Len and Amy teased her about it. By the way, can Amy and Alice come with me and everyone else on Saturday?" I asked.

"Yeah sure. I'll just let everyone know," Kaito said and got out his cell phone and texted Len, telling him to tell everyone else about it and then put his phone away.

Amy and Alice looked at him in shock.

"Whoa! That was so fast! I can't even text that fast!" Alice said.

"I use my phone all the time," Kaito said.

"Really?! Well that explains it then!" Alice said.

"I'm just going to the ice cream shop! Come on Alice!" Amy said and quickly grabbed Alice's arm and ran into the nearest shop.

"Won't they be late?" Kaito asked.

"Probably not. I think they're up to something," I said.

Then, my phone vibrated.

I checked it and it was a message from Alice.

Alice: Go to school without us. Amy might be a while. She just said that she was going to get ice cream just because she needs to get her Mum groceries.

Wow, this got too random.

"Alice said that we were to go to school without them because Amy might take a while," I said.

School went by rather normally. Soon, I was on my way home with Kaito. Amy had Art club and Alice had Art club as well.

"Um, so do you have any plans for now?" Kaito said.

"No, why?" I replied.

"I want to take you somewhere, come," Kaito said and he took me to a park and we sat down on a bench.

"Why did you take me here?" I asked.

"I want to tell you something," Kaito said.

"Okay, what is it do you want to tell me?" I asked.

Kaito never said anything to me. He just leaned in and kissed me on the lips.

Then he broke apart.

"The truth is, I've loved you ever since we met. I know we have only known each other for months but that's the truth," Kaito said.

I blushed.

"I love you too, Kaito," I said and we kissed again.
