Chapter 2: Meeting all the VOCALOIDs

Everything went well today in school.

I wasn't going to meet all the other VOCALOIDs until Friday.

Before you ask, Kaito and I got on well on his first day. Nothing too dramatic happened. Although, Amy and Alice both assume that I like Kaito, which I kind of do but I haven't told them.

It was now Friday, and I went to school with Alice and Amy.

"Are you sure that you don't like Kaito?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, do you? From our perspective, the two of you seem to look more like you are dating. You walk with him to every class. You hang out with him at break and lunch and you are going to meet the other VOCALOIDs," Alice said.

"I don't like him. I've told you this about a million times for the whole week," I said.

The whole way to school was exactly like that.

It was now the end of school and I was walking with Kaito to his apartment.

"I don't live anywhere fancy. Just a normal apartment complex. My friends should already be there," Kaito said.

"I understand why, though. Tokyo hasn't got really fancy places to live in," I said.

"What about you? Does anyone live with you?" Kaito asked me.

"I just live in a normal apartment with my brother Mikuo," I said.

"How did he react to you going to my house for a few hours?" Kaito asked.

"Well, he was worried just in case you would try to do something nasty to me but you didn't seem like that type of person," I said.

We got to his apartment and when we opened the door, there were three female VOCALOIDs and one male VOCALOID already there.

"Hey! Is that the girl you wouldn't shut up about?" a girl with brown hair and brown eyes.

"Yes. This is Hatsune Miku and she agreed to be a VOCALOID," Kaito said.

"Oh. It's nice to meet you Hatsune Miku. My name is Sakane Meiko but just call me Meiko," the brown haired girl said.

"Nice to meet you Meiko. Just call me Miku," I said.

"My name is Kagamine Rin. Just call me Rin. It's very nice to meet you Miku," a girl with yellow hair and blue eyes said.

"I'm Kagamine Len but just call me Len. I'm Rin's twin brother," a boy with yellow hair that's tied up in a ponytail and blue eyes said.

"And my name is Megurine Luka but call me Luka. It's nice to meet you, Miku," a girl with pink hair and blue eyes said.

"It's very nice to meet all of you. I hope to get along with all of you," I said.

"There are a lot more other VOCALOIDs though. The others couldn't make it and not all of them can fit in my apartment," Kaito said.

"We could have went to the building that only VOCALOIDs go to. After all, that's where we have meeting and it's also the place you would sign up to be one," Meiko said.

"I just wanted you guys to meet her first, we'll do all that tomorrow or next week," Kaito said.

"Next week is better because my brother wouldn't have to worry too much," I said.

"Miku, do you have any parents?" Rin asked.

"No. They died when I was seven," I said.

"Sorry for asking," Rin said.

"It's alright. I'm not bothered by it. Is there any other questions you would like to ask me?" I asked.

"Did Kaito try to flirt with you?" Meiko asked.

Everyone started giggling except for Kaito and me.

"No. Why?" I said.

"Well, you see, Kaito has a cr-" Meiko was cut off by Kaito.

"Don't listen to her. She's always like that," Kaito said.

"Say, Miku, do you have a crush on Kaito?" Rin asked.

"No. I just think of him as a friend," I said.

"Yeah right. I suspect that you like him but won't admit it. Everyone is like that," Meiko said.

"Who wants to play Twister?" Len asked.

"Not me," Kaito and I said at the same time.

"Aww... The two of them are in complete sync. They said the same thing at

"Okay, fine. Anyone up for truth or dare?" Len said.

"As long as you guys don't try anything funny, I'm up for it," I said.

"Same," Kaito said.

Everyone else agreed to play the game.
