Chapter 10: Final Chapter

Once we got there, Zatsune was destroying the place by setting fire to buildings.

"Everyone, get out now!" Kaito yelled in an attempt to get everyone out of the part of the city before something bad happened to them.

I ran up to Zatsune. Kaito gave me a sword before we left the house so that I could fight her.

She spotted me while I was running up to her.

"Oh... Miku, have you finally decided on killing me already?" Zatsune asked.

"Yes. It's my duty," I said.

"Well, I guess those that work for the government doesn't care if it's someone from their own family that they are arresting or killing," Zatsune said.

"Well, if they are hurting others, we have no other choice but to do that," I said as I pointed my sword at her.

Then, Zatsune got a sword and pointed it at me.

"I thought you were smarter than this but it looks like you're not," Zatsune said as she was about to stab me but I moved out of the way so that it couldn't.

She tried to stab me again and I dodged it.

She tried to stab me a few more times but I dodged them all. She realized that she couldn't kill me with her sword so she went to get a gun so I took the opportunity to stab her in the leg.

She fell down and couldn't stand back up due to the pain in her leg so one of her helpers picked up her sword to try and stab me but someone shot her. I turned around in the direction of where I heard the bang and saw Kaito.

He then shot Zatsune afterwards, blood was all over the place.

"Well, looks like it's all done here, Mikuo was dealing with her other helpers," Kaito said.

I just looked at her.

"It's kind of ridiculous that she only had one helper to back her up if she lost and sent all her other ones to try and stop anyone else that tried to get in her way. I thought that she would have at least five helpers to back her up," Kaito said.

"Should we be going to where Mikuo is to help him?" I asked.

But then, Mikuo came back and he was carring one of her helpers.

"What are you doing with her?" I asked.

"She surrendered to us so we can only arrest her," Mikuo said.

Headquarters

We took the helper to an interrogation room and we asked her a few questions if she knew why Zatsune wanted to destroy the olace and the helper said that she only knew that she had some sort of illness and it made her go insane.

Since that was all she could say to us, we put her in a cell.

But we had to go to our master's office because he wanted to say something to us.

When we got there, our master was sitting in his chair.

"Well, it looks like we have gotten rid of what we needed to get rid of. For now, our only job is singing unless someone tries to destroy the whole country," the master said.

"So, are you saying that I have to leave the school Miku goes to?" Kaito asked.

"Sadly, yes but you will get to see Miku around here," the master said.

"When do I have to leave?" Kaito asked.

"Next month. I've alrwady phoned the school saying that you will be leaving," the master said.

"Oh... I see..." Kaito said sadly.

"I want to know something, why is he not given a choice?" I asked.

"Kaito has already been through all his years of education. There's no need for him to repeat his senior year," the master said.

So we left without questioning the master any further about his decision.

And there wasn't much that happened for the rest of the month.

The next month

Kaito came to school for his last day, we all spent the day talking to him.

Amy and Alice mostly cried for the whole day and so did everyone else that got to know him, which was mostly the girls.

When it was time for all of us to leave school to go home, the teacher all kept us back to say goodbye.

Everyone said goodbye to him and said that they might see him around.

Amy, Alice and I were the last ones.

Amy and Alice said goodbye to him first.

"I'm so sad to see you leave. It feels like yesterday you came here," Amy said.

"Time just flew by so fast," Alice said, crying.

Kaito hugged the both of them.

"I'm sure we'll see each other again. If there's some sort of special event happening, you just have to tell Miku that you both would want to see me there and I'll try and see if I can make it," Kaito said.

"Yeah! We'll do that," the both of them said and they hugged him.

When it was my time to say goodbye to him, they walked out of the classroom so that we could have some alone time.

"Well, I guess this is the last time I'll ever get to spend a lot of time with you," Kaito said to me.

"Yeah. It's gonna be weird without you around. I wish the master didn't make that decision. I wish you could just stay," I said.

"Yeah, me too but I would get in trouble if I didn't leave," Kaito said.

"But still, that's kind of harsh," I said.

"But there's no need to worry about it since we'll still be able to see each other," Kaito said.

"I know," I said.

But suddenly, he kissed me.

But after a few seconds, we parted for air.

"I guess this is the last time we can do that without everyone else seeing," Kaito said.

I giggled, knowing that everyone else tries to spy on you if you went somewhere with someone else in private.

"Yeah," I said.

Then, we both left to go home.

The end

A/N: Sorry that it's not a good chapter. I couldn't think of anything else to write for the ending.

But don't worry, I'll be writing another story at some point when I get another idea in my head.

So, I guess this is goodbye for now everyone.
