This character and all rights to it belong to Stephenie Meyer. Anything I say or do only adds to it, does not say that he is mine. Thank you.

On another note before this is read any farther, if you have not read the entire story for Castle Of Hearts, these character guides contain spoilers.

With those unfamiliar with Aro (if any), Aro is one of the three leaders of the Volturi, which was created by Athenodora, Caius, Marcus, and Aro himself.

Aro, despite Marcus and Caius being 'leaders', is widely accepted (and viewed) as the overall leader of The Volturi.

He is capable of reading someones thoughts by a single touch, except most vampires with a natural shield against mental powers, which he does not usually come across. Or at least it is implied that he doesn't.

Aro was born in Greece in the 1300's B.C. and is not specified exactly when during that time. But to save on the when for the story, I will say exactly then.

Considering when he meets Sulpicia, it is 1327 B.C. (it is not said that in the wiki or books as far as I know, I added that) and since he's aged in his mid-20's in the book, I have his rough age being 25 to 27 years old.

Sulpicia was born in 1281, making her 19.

For those wondering why The Volturi were fit into Volterra when his/their home was in Greece, I had wanted it explained when I never really heard in the books why or even in the wiki's, and Sulpicia's homeland was never said in the wiki's or books as far as I know. So, to have a good and official reason why they would relocate The Volturi, I had her homeland in Volterra, Italy. It seemed to make more sense to me to give them a better reason to move from Greece.

Aro uses a close vampire guard known as Chelsea who can manipulate the emotional ties of relationships, changing bonds of vampires and even covens to gain emotion for The Volturi.

She will be introduced later into the story as will Marcus and Aro's sister Didyme.

Aro's sister, Didyme, was turned by Aro after a decade of himself becoming a vampire. He had hoped she would gain a useful ability (like later he would hope the same for Sulpicia) but Didyme only gained the gift to make people happy which seemed to fit her, how I understand it, bubbly attitude.

More from Didyme will be explained later in the story, but for now, I would like to say about him in the story so far. Some of this is my idea for the plot, I'll explain which parts throughout the Character Guide, or if you wish you can search for the Wiki's of the Characters yourself, all you have to do is look for:

Sulpicia Twilight Wiki, Aro Twilight Wiki, and so on. It'll come up quite easy ^.^ And if you haven't read much of the story and do not like spoilers, here's a spoiler warning about reading further.

Now, Aro sees Sulpicia in her village market, he sees how she is obviously interested in him and is at once curious of her. She's a "different kind of desperate" as he remarked to himself in Chapter 1 unlike other women in the village.

Aro had been traveling to find himself a wife/mate and upon seeing Sulpicia and observing her, striked up a conversation with her. To which results in him seeing her female caretaker, Adelie for the first time and her impression of him wasn't as nice as he could have hoped. The old woman had a thing against royals.

But throughout the story, he develops a soft heart about the old woman even after her death which is resulted in a plan by himself and Caius.

Aro's attachment to Sulpicia becomes stronger to her as hers does to him, and he's convinced that he's found his future wife and mate. Somewhere during the story, will be introduced how he hoped she would have a power to aid The Volturi, but it does not make him love her any less when she does not have any type of gift at all. Which will tie into the sequal. =D

As the story progresses, Aro meets Benedetto Marcello, who has his own eyes on Sulpicia. He gains this instict that she is "his" and no one elses. Which is something both men have in common, even though Sulpicia has other ideas.

There will be many different parts to Aro, but maybe not as many as I would like considering Castle Of Hearts is coming to its end and the sequel is coming to its first stages, we shall see how all of this progress, shall we?

Comments are welcomed thoroughly, if there is something you would like to see in the story I will gladly add it as long as I can fit it into the plot and current situations, if not I could always add them to the sequels, thank you!
