Okay, now in the 21st century it's more okay to be gay, then it is to wear crocs, but in some situations the person may feel afraid or even threatened to come out.
Many people still believe that any other sexuality besides heterosexuality is wrong. There is those unlucky times that the children of those people question their own sexuality, which means they have no one to talk to. In some cases kids can get disowned from their family's, a depressing but true fact. In this situation my advice is to stay in the closet until you know you can take care of yourself or have somewhere else to go.
Even if their parents aren't like that, they still may be afraid to come out. That's okay too. However if you are afraid to come out, don't be pressured into doing it. Do it in your own time and when you're comfortable.
Now if you are comfortable to come out I recommend to tell your parents first then you just have school to worry about. As I see it there is two ways that you can handle this school situation.
A) Come out too everyone and not care about what others think (because you're a bad bitch like that)
or
B) Come out to certain people, but keep it hush-hush on everyone else
I hope you liked this new chapter and new book! I didn't want my school books to be filled with sexuality and gender chapters so I thought "let's make a new book!"
