My Coming Out Story: Friends & School

Around seventh grade, I started questioning my sexuality, the first person I decided to tell was my best guy friend JD*.

JD and I had planned on hanging out for the day, but I was a little anxious. As we sat down to start playing some video game I didn't know how to play in his basement, I pulled him aside.

"Um.. there's something I need to tell you.." I said looking at the ground

"What is it?" He asked sounding concern

"I think I'm bi."

JD laughed, "I thought something was wrong. That's okay, you're my friend no matter what."

Throughout seventh and eighth grade I came out easily to other people, even some I wasn't friends with and they all were accepting.  I came out to the guys I got into relationships with and even some teachers that I felt comfortable telling. I was confident in myself and proud.

During my history class a week ago.

I sat in my boring history class as usual but this time it got a tad bit more interesting. We were currently learning about WW2 and the concentration camps that Hitler had created during that time.

Mrs. Rider* turns to face us saying "Okay all the girls we're going to go to a summer camp, you'll be paid, you'll have food and shelter, it'll be great."

"I don't trust this..." I said letting out a small laugh.

"Awe why not, they'll be some cute guys across the lake." added in one of the upperclassmen.

"I'm gay." I said with a straight  (haha) face.

Then the room was dead silent.

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this short chapter I've been meaning to write it lately, but I finally got to it. Somethings have changed since 7th grade, I originally came out as bi but I am now pansexual. Also yes I know I'm not *gay* as stated in my last short story, I said gay to be a bit more obvious as to what I was stating (aka even if they're was a "guys camp" I wouldn't really care)
