Upon arrival to your new class, you looked around.

It seemed normal, apart from the fact that the teacher was dissecting what looked to be an extinct bird.

You weren't the only new student. There was another who you weren't aware joined the class: a weapon. This was perfect as you were a meister.

Almost immediately, the teacher, who you had found out was Professor Stein, explained "oh, just sit down somewhere and entertain yourself whilst I'm doing this."

"By that he means the whole day." The girl with pigtails, Maka, whispered to you.

You couldn't help but to giggle at her remark.

You felt that you were already becoming friends with Maka, which resulted in you sitting next to her. Luckily, the new student, who was due to become your weapon, was sitting on the other side.

"Hi!" The new student said to you. "I'm Ayano Tsuna! It's nice to meet you!"

"I'm (Y/N). It's nice to meet you too, Tsuna!" You smiled at her as you pulled out your notebook and began to draw.

Approximately 5 minutes later, you looked around the classroom.

There was something you couldn't help but notice.

Kid was looking at you from across the classroom, smiling widely. His eyes focused on you as if he was daydreaming about something.

You couldn't help but to think about how cute he looked.

A soft red blush appeared on your cheeks as you smiled back at him.

You had only just met him but you realised that one day the two of you would become very close.

After school, Kid ran up to you. "(Y/N)!!!" You heard him yell.

You knew where it came from and who the voice belonged to. "Oh, hi Kid!" You smile at him just like you did in class.

"So it's your first day here?" He asked you out of the blue.

"Yeah..." You reply, unsure of the direction of the conversation.

"I remember my first day." Kid told you, adding "Do you want to hear about it?"

You nod your head in silence.

"Long story short, I arrived 3 hours late and picked a fight with Soul and Black*Star almost instantly."

You laugh a little at that.

"Not only that but Soul said that we're supposed to be here at 7..." His face looked disgusted when he said the number. "That is, until I forced my father to change it to 8!"

"If you don't mind me asking," you started, "why do you dislike the number 7?"

"It's not symmetrical at all! 8 is symmetrical both vertically and horizontally, meaning that it's my favourite number. Oh, I umm... I think you know now that I love symmetry!" He giggled softly.

"I could tell from the second I met you!" You laughed, causing you both to break out in fits of laughter.

"Well, I need to go back home now." Kid explained. "But it was very nice meeting you, (Y/N)."

"You too, Kid!" You smiled.

"Bye then, I shall meet you tomorrow, yes?" He told you.

"Sure! Right here, 8AM!" You giggle a little bit.

"Okay! Bye!" He waved at you before walking home.
