Honestly I already wrote this chapter once and it got deleted so I sure as hell don't wanna write it again, but here we go round 2!
There's many sexualites but I'm just gonna give a brief run down on some and their definitions. So get yourself a notebook and some pens because you're gonna get an sexuality education (a sex-a-cation? Nope that sounds too dirty).
Lets begin with the basics;
______sexual vs _____romantic:
Anything ending with sexual refers to sexual attraction, aka when you wanna bone someone. On the reverse side anything with the ending romantic refers to romantic attraction, meaning you wanna date someone. There's other attractions but we're going to focus on these two. These two can mix and match sexualities, for example heterosexual and biromantic, you dated a boy or girl but only get dirty with the opposite sex.
Heterosexual & Heteroromantic:
This is the most basic of basic things to know. Being heterosexual or heteroromantic means that you are attracted to the opposite sex. There's not much to explain with this one.
Heteroflexible:
This one is a bit self-explanatory, but I feel like its pretty important to write. Being heteroflexible means you mainly date those of the opposite sex but you may date someone of the same sex.
Homosexual & Homoromantic:
Also known as gay and lesbain, with homo meaning same, this sexuality is just the attraction to the same sex.
Homoflexible:
Just like heteroflexible, homoflexible means you mainly date those of the same sex but may date someone of the opposite sex.
Bisexual & Biromantic:
With bi meaning two, this sexuality is the attraction to two sexes, boys and girls.
Pansexual & Panromantic:
Hey look its me! Being pan means you are attracted to all sexes. People always ask me, isn't that bisexuality? Hahahahaha no. No it's not.
Pansexual/Panromantic vs Bisexual/Biromantic:
I've had to explain this difference many times so here it goes; pansexuality is the attraction to all sexes where as bisexuality is the attraction to two sexes. Those who are pansexual don't focus on what sex or gender the person they are attracted to are, because they are attracted to all.
Asexual & Aromantic:
Being asexual or aromantic otherwise known as ace, means you have little or no attraction. However someone who is asexual may still feel romantic attraction and vice versa for aromantics. Aces also can have other sexualities, for example heteroromantic and asexual, someone who would date the opposite sex but experiences little to no sexual attraction.
Asexuality vs Celibacy:
Celibacy is when a person abstains for sex due to religious or a number of other reasons. Asexuals however just experience little to no sexual attraction.
Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, yes sadly the first draft of this chapter got deleted :( I literally stared at my computer screen for a good 10 minutes filled with rage. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do an entire chapter just explaining aces and what they have to go through because its just rude. Might do a chapter for bisexuality or pansexuality too, I'm not positive yet.
