Chapter 7

Annie's POV

I have always been a goody two shoes and follow the rules, i guess i shouldn't have this time. I follow this Jessica person to a building, it had a sign next to it that said, 'official orphanage' I was really confused but I parked anyways. Another dumb decision. I step out of my car and Jessica walks up to me. "Follow me Annie" she told me. I slowly started to follow her. "Why am i at an orphanage i am 18." I ask "um...safety reason" she told me. "Oh uh ok" i am really confused. I walk in and in a matter of two minutes three girls were tackling me, one pinned me down, one stole my phone and the other covered my mouth. I was so scared and after they took my phone they threw me in a room. I started crying. "H-hi" i hear, I jump and respond "oh um hi" "my name is Clara, i'm 16" "I'm...Annie and i'm 18..." I tell her "how did you get stuck in here. I told her the story confused as ever. "Oh well i was out jogging and someone jumped me and i woke up here...3 years ago" she said "3 YEARS YOU HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 3 FREAKING YEARS I CANT STAY HERE I HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE AND MY FAMILY NEEDS ME!!!!" I scream "shhhhh" she shushes me "sorry...but i am not staying here for 3 years, no way!" I tell her "good luck getting out" Clara says

Hayley's POV

I texted Annie non stop before I remembered we can track her phone. I tell my dad the address and we drive there. Once we arrive we walk in. "I am here for my daughter Annie Leblanc" my dad said in a panic "yes...ok, you will need to adopt her." The lady says "ADOPT?!" My dad freaks out "SHES MY DAUGHTER I NEVER GAVE HER UP FOR ADOPTION!!!" He yells "i am sorry sir its the rules" the lady responds. It is awkwardly dark and cold in here, like jail or something... "Ill be back" my dad said as we walk out the door. He pulls his phone out and dials '9-1-1" in a matter of minutes 4 cop cars and 2 ambulances appear. They break threw the door "Hands up!" They yell. Startled the workers drop everything and put there hands up. "This is an illegal orphanage and we are shutting you down" about 5 minutes later the cops take the workers to jail and other cops go to the back to find kids. Here's who they found.
-Annie(who was perfectly fine)
-3 ok kids
-7 wounded kids
-10 dead kids
The cops contacted parents of the kids who weren't orphans. And we got Annie back...thank god.
-1 hour later-
"So, Katie Leblanc?" The cop reports "yes shes in the house and shes crazy." My dad said and the cops grab my mom and put her in a car "where is going?" I ask "Crazy Hut in Massachusetts, she won't bother you" the cop says as he gets in the car and drives away. "Dad...i don't want to go to college near mom what if she escapes?" Annie asks concerned and my dad just looked at her thinking of an answer.
