SERIOUSLY!?!? What kind of evil creature is that. It talked and sang and just to freak me out, my cousins and uncle would turn it on. The thing is, it wasn't just me that was afraid of this obvious soul taking demon. My aunt who was 2 years older, was also terrified. When everyone was younger they were terrified too but eventually grew out of the fear. Well one night my aunt woke up in a cold sweat freaking out.
"The Christmas tree! The Christmas tree is gonna eat me!!!" She screamed.
I was younger and she was like 6 so we were both terrified. My aunt had had a dream where the tree had come to life and was the size of our actual Christmas tree and it talked to her. She said it tried to eat her. While we all laugh about this now, it was traumatizing at the time. Neither of us would go near that thing until it was put away.
