Life is Like a Song

The bridge

I walk under the stars only seeing a hand full of people on the way to the bridge. The cold wind burns my skin.

Upon reaching the bridge I see a figure standing on the ledge. I watch as they slowly sit down, feet dangling over the the water. I slowly approach them be careful not to frighten them.

"Hello?" I said carefully sitting next to them. Nothing... "Are you here to-" "no," He said moving his fringe out of his face. "Are you?" "No I come here to reflect on things but I'll never do it." "Same,
I don't even thing I can." He said looking back down at the water.
A silence came over us. No body was around for 5 minutes, until I heard foot steps. Then a scream... "OMG DAN HOWELL!!!!!" He turned into a different person all of a sudden. "That's me!" He said with a smile. He slowly bent down to take a photo. Said a few thing then she ran off.

"Is that why?" I said "yeah... I couldn't do that to my fans, my family, or Phil." *cough* "same." The silence drowned my mind till he spoke "Why are you talking to me?" He said looking at me. "Once I came here with a friend. We were sitting right over there as I was talking to her she said that she was sorry and jumped off. This bridge has seen enough and I'm tried if hearing about deaths here. So when I come I make sure anyone who lingers near the edge understands that they don't

"Can I tell you something my friend once told me." "No ones stopping you." He said with a fake smirk. "Life is like a song. You know it's gonna end but, you still listen to it. And why exit out of it early when you don't know it's full potential." "That's a good quote, where is it from?" "My friend ,the one who jumped off, was listing to a song that said 'life is like a song' and even though it was a happy song she put her own interpret on it. How some peoples songs are shorter than others and some people decide the songs not good enough to listen to but, why would you, you never know with the song will change for the better."

"I wish she would have listened  to her own advice, if she did she might still be here" Dan mumbled . "She got cancer and it didn't look good for her, so she jumped off, I wonder if she would have made it through but the pain she went through was just to much." Dans looked off at the water.
