A/N Sorry I haven't updated since last week :/ school just started so I've been busy. I'll update as much as I can on the weekends tho!

{Ciel's POV}
It's okay to feel broken. Those words echoed through Ciel's head. Alois had endured hardship throughout his life just like Ciel had. Knowing he wasn't alone, Ciel was actually starting to feel... happiness.
"Alois, where's your room?"
"Honestly, I don't know." Alois laughed. "I may have lied about not having nightmares, but I was definitely not lying about being lost."
"That's alright. Let's go go get a candle." Ciel motioned for Alois to follow him into his room. Ciel rummaged through his drawers in search for a match. He finally found one, and lit the wick on a candle. They left Ciel's room and walked through the hallways.
"Does anything look familiar, Alois?" Ciel asked. Alois scanned his surroundings and shook his head. They kept walking until Alois saw a familiar tapestry.
"Oh, Ciel that tapestry looks familiar. I think my rooms right here." Alois cautiously opened the door to the room.
"Yeah, this is it. Thanks for helping me Ciel." Alois said with a smile.
"Yeah no problem." Ciel said. "Oh, and take the candle. I don't think you have any in your room."
"Are you sure, Ciel? Won't it be hard for you to see?" Alois questioned.
"I'll be fine. Anyways, goodnight Alois."
"Goodnight Ciel, see you in the morning." Alois smiled and closed the door to his room. Ciel tried to walk back to his room by memory, for it was almost pitch black. Ciel was pretty successful until he tripped over the edge of the carpet and fell to the ground. Not even a minute later, Sebastian came running down the hall with a candle.
"Master! Are you hurt?!" Sebastian exclaimed.
"I'm fine, Sebastian. It's not a big deal."
"Why are you up so late, young lord?" Sebastian inquired.
    "I couldn't fall asleep, so I took a walk."
    "Without a candle?"
"I was tired, so I wasn't thinking straight."
"Very well, my lord. Anyways, It's late, let's get you to bed."

--time skip to end of breakfast--

Ciel stood up from the table and excused himself.
"Ciel, where are you going?" Alois asked.
    "To my study."
    "Can I come?"
"No you cannot." Ciel said as he started to leave the dining room.
"Ciel! Wait!" Alois exclaimed as he ran over to where Ciel was standing. "Please." Alois whined. "I'll be quiet."
Ciel sighed. "Fine." They walked upstairs to Ciel's study, and upon entering the room, Ciel realized he only had one chair.
"Oh sorry Alois I only have one chair in here, let me call Sebastian to go get you one."
"No that's quite alright, Ciel." Alois said as he sat on Ciel's desk.
"Alois, please do not sit on my desk." Ciel said as calm as he could be with his growing frustration.
Alois pouted, "But why not?"
"Because I have important paper work to do and you'll get in the way."
"I'll set on the very edge and I won't knock anything over. PLEASE CIEL." Ciel sighed. "Fine Alois. But please do try to be quiet." Ciel started on his paperwork. A few boring minutes later, Alois quietly slid off the desk. He started looking around the room, twirling as he did so.
Alois eventually started to dance and shouted,
"Olé!" Ciel stood up from his chair, about to yell at Alois.
Alois noticed Ciel had stood up. "Oh Ciel! Would you like to dance with me?"
"No thank you Alois. As I told you before, please be quiet. I am trying to focus on this very important paper."
"Ciel, you're gonna die of boredom if you keep reading those papers"
"I'd rather die of boredom than dance with you." Ciel mumbled.
"Oh Ciel." Alois giggled and pulled Ciel towards him. "Try dancing it's fun!"
"Let go of me Alois!"
"Ciel.. can you not dance?" Alois laughed.
"Wha- what. Of course I can dance!"
"Then let's see you dance!" Alois exclaimed. He grabbed Ciel's hands and spun him.
"Alois!" Ciel yelled turning red in the face.
"Now repeat after me." Alois said. "Olé!"
"Olé." Ciel repeated monotonically.
"C'mon Ciel, have more excitement!"
"No. It's time I got back to my papers but er thanks for... teaching me?"
"It was my pleasure!" Alois exclaimed as he sat back on the desk. Once he started to get bored again, he pestered Ciel with questions.
"Ciel what's that?"
"Paperwork for the new 'funtom' candy."
"Oooo! What type of candy."
"Chocolate."
"What kind of chocolate? Wait no! Let me guess... Hm. Oh is it Milk?! Wait actually maybe it's dark. Or white. You can't forget about white chocolate!"
"Alois." Ciel interrupted. "Why. Does. It. Matter."
"Because it does! What's your favorite type of chocolate, Ciel!?" Alois asked.
"Alois. Please shut up. How many times do I need to tell you I'm trying to focus." Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Ciel called.
"Good afternoon my lord, and to you too Alois. Master, I have come to inform you that Elizabeth has requested to come over this weekend." Announced Sebastian.
"Oh."Ciel frowned. Trying to decide the best way to avoid having to accept.
"Master, it would be very impolite to decline."
Ciel sighed, Sebastian was right, if he did decline Elizabeth would go berserk. "Very well."
Sebastian bowed and then left the room.
"Who's Elizabeth?" Alois asked.
"My betrothed." Ciel said casually. Upon hearing this Alois felt a pang of jealousy, but he shook it off.
"You have a betrothed?!"
"Yes."
"What's she like?" Annoying. Childish. Loves anything cute, Ciel thought.
"She's a wonderful girl. Now, please stop with the questions."
