"The human mind is a great expanse of the unknown, the sheer complexity of it having so many possibilities is what makes it so magnificent. However, this complexity also comes at a disadvantage- the human mind is also has the tendancy to become plagued with psychopathologies." I say as I explain the young minds before me.

Although a small classroom, I feel as though Im in one of those huge lecture halls in college or a university. The freshmen stare at me, some eager to finish the class and some half asleep to the point of almost nodding off.

"Take for example, the symptom of schizophrenia of hearing voices, or auditory hallucinations as it's called sometimes, is a symptom that causes the sufferers significant emotional distress however, it is what the voices say an-" I stop talking as the loud bell cuts through the silence of the class and my speech.

The sound of closing textbooks, the zipping and un-zipping of bags and the slight sound of chatter fills the air.

"Remember guys, come tomorrow prepared to start the syllabus" I say before the students begin to empty out of the class room and into the hallways.

"Quiet a lesson you hosted there" a familiar voice says.

I smile and huff and look over to the door to find Victor standing there arms folded over his big chest and leaning against the metal filings cabinet. My heart leaps and a huge smile spreads across my face.

"Well, that's if you want to sleep halfway through it" I say, packing my stuff away and stuffing it into my bag.

Although the first day back at school I cannot wait to get home, the thought of food and going home the only thing getting me through the day.

Victor chuckles slightly and walks over to me, his light blue scrubs flowing slightly.

"Well, why don't you and I go home and have a little fun" he says as he corners me in and pushes me against the whiteboard.

The clothes on our bodies are the only thing separating us from each other, that and my short height that seems to have stayed with me since I was 16 despite me being 24 now.

"But what about Alex?" I say, running my thumb over Victor's jaw. The stubble scratching the pad of my thumb.

"He's Robert's, plus Andrea wanted to take Alex and Sven out for a little movie so they'll be gone till tomorrow. So it'll be the perfect time for me to introduce you to one last thing" Victor says as he stares into my eyes.

I can't help but to get lost in them, they're just the kind that you could spend so long in without even being botherd what's going on around you.

He puts his hand at the small of my back and presses me in closer, the slight tenderness in his pants making me blush.

"Well, it's ironic that the teacher gets taught" I say " let me get my bag and we'll go"

"No need" Victor says and I look at him dumbfounded.

"What do you me-oh" I say and cut off my words and he holds up my messenger by the strap.

"Come on" he says and grabs my hand, leading me out if the classroom and into the now empty hallway.

A few students still linger about in the hallway, some talking to other people and some to the odd teacher who stayed behind if not making the same beeline out of the school as the other pupils did. The sound of our footfalls echo throughout the empty hallway, the odd squeak of Victor's trainers scraping on this floor.

After highschool, things actually got so much better. We both got into college, the same one I may add and, with the added perk of having the same dorm room together made college a bit more happier for me than expected. We graduated college soon after where I went to grad school to get my bachelor's in psychology and Victor to med school to become a sports therapist. It then leads to today, to now. Victor and I married, with a beautiful daughter of our own and oh, did I mention how my mom got a new husband? Sometimes, life can be an ass, it can take the hugest of shits on you but I guess life has a morality principle and made things like a dream for me.
