Chapter 16

I sat there on one of the branches of Thalia's pine. I've been here for about on hour. People were going by shouting my name trying to find me. I just ignored thinking about what happened. When he tried to stab Thalia I just lost it. I beat him until he was a lump of flesh. Some people even said he died. Soon Thalia came by and sat down at the trunk of the tree. She looked sad. She started mumbling stuff like,"Please come back Percy." And some other things I couldn't catch. She started crying silently and it just broke my heart. I climbed down and sat next to her, "Go away." She said. I put my arm around her and said," I thought you'd be happier to see me." She looked at me surprised I was here and gave me a tight hug. We sat there for a second with my arms around her and I whispered," I'm sorry." So we sat there, my arms draped around her. Wanting nothing more than to be with her.

Unknown persons POV

I was walking around the desert. Wondering why I would be in a desert in a dream. But then again what makes sense in a demigods dream? I walked into a house when I saw an old man. I instantly bowed, "I have some information that you may like my lord." He turned. His golden eyes seemed to be looking into my soul. " Out with it then." The man said. " The boy, Percy Jackson, has returned. But he has found his real father." His eyes widened in shock," Who's his real father?" Kronos asked. " His father is lord Chaos, creator of the universe." He paled and looked scared for his life. Then his features hardened and he said," If you get the chance, take him out." I nodded and awoke from my dream.

Percy's POV

Me and Thalia were walking to the pavilion for dinner. We had skipped lunch so we could just spend time together. We were walking when I heard some noises at the border. I have enhanced senses thanks to chaos so I'm the only one who heard it. I took out Void and ran to the border. A boy sat there facing a dozen of hellhounds. I put the boy behind me, and I started hacking and slashing until the hellhounds were nothing but dust. I turned to the kid and just as everyone started to come near us he started screaming,"Help! He's trying to kill me! Somebody help me!" Then people came rushing to us and noticed me and the boy. They looked at me with disgust and everyone started whispering they started throwing rocks at me yelling things like "Traitor!" and "Leave us alone!". Then the Alpha squadron came up. Nico stood in front of everyone and yelled," Really, this is how you thank the person who has saved your sorry lives? When one kid comes and starts yelling saying my commander is trying to kill him you instantly believe the boy?" Everyone in the Alpha Squadron was fuming. All the campers looked down ashamed with themselves. Then the alpha squadron walked off to our cabin and didn't come out for the rest of the day.
