Chapter 18

Annabeth's POV

I am gonna break him. I will get my Percy back. I know he still loves me. He just doesn't realize it yet. I'm gonna make him think that Thalia was kissing another boy. I paid a Hecate camper to make an illusion of Thalia kissing James. When he sees it he'll be broken and come running back to me.

Percy's POV.

I was walking around trying to find Thalia. Then I saw her. She was in the pavilion. Kissing James. I didn't say anything, I just ran. I sat down on the beach, silently sobbing. "What's wrong Percy?" Someone asked. I turned to see Thalia coming my way. " Do act like you don't know." I said. She looked hurt," What do you mean?" She asked. " Don't act like you don't know! I saw you kissing him!" She was about to reply when a horn blew twice, Signaling an attack. I ran there while everyone was getting ready. What I saw made my heart stop. The titan Perses. He was in the middle of an army of monsters. " Percy Jackson. What a surprise." I was wondering how he knew when I realized my hood was down. I was mad at myself for being so stupid but it doesn't matter now. " Oh look, the all mighty son of Poseidon is crying." I gave him my best death glare and he backed up a little, " I'm a son of Chaos, not Poseidon." I said and everyone started coming up. All the campers cowered in fear at the sight of the Titan. The Alpha Squadron stepped right beside me. All but Thalia. I don't know where she is and I don't care. I'm not gonna lie, I still love her. But she broke my heart just like Annabeth. As if reading my thoughts he said, " Where's that girlfriend of yours? What's her name again, Thalia? Yes, that daughter of Zeus. We know all about you two. We have plans for both of you." Then out of nowhere someone said, " I'm right here, so you wanna do something, do it." Of course it was Thalia. But then Thalia launched herself at the Titan only to get backhanded away. That filled me with rage. With a raging scream the ground started shaking, it started raining so hard you could barely see your hands in front of your face, lightning started striking groups of monsters. Perses started trembling in fear. With another scream the monsters turned to dust. All that was left was him. My team was checking up on Thalia while the campers are sitting there in shock. When it all stopped Perses stood there scared for his life. I slowly walked up to him," Nobody. Touches. Her." I growled and he started fumbling for his spear but dropped it. He reached down to pick it up but I stepped on it, and punched him in the chest sending him flying through three trees in the process. I picked up his spear and he stood up so I threw the spear into his chest. It went straight through and he fell to his knees. I opened portal behind him and kicked him through it, sending him straight to the void. I fell to my knees then I remembered Thalia and got up and sprinted to her. She was lying on the ground with a broken arm. I knelt down next to her gently putting my hand on her arm, sending some sliver pulses through her arm healing it. Everyone was staring at me so I stood up and said," You can go back to your daily activities now." They all walked off and I looked at my whole team as we were sitting around Thalia. They nodded to me and walked off. I grabbed Thalia's hand and shadow traveled to my room and sat down on my bed. I looked up at her and asked," Why Thalia? Why did you cheat on me with James?" She looked hurt," Why would you think i did that?" I glared at her," Cause i saw you kissing him." She looked at me confused. " Percy, I swear on the Styx that I didn't, and won't cheat on you with anyone." Thunder rumbled and i waited for something to happen. Nothing happened. Then what did I see? I'll wonder about that later. " I'm so sorry Thalia. I should've known it was a trick." He sat down next to me, laced her finders through mine, and put her head on my shoulder. I'm so happy that it wasn't real. All I wanna do is a just sit there with her. " I love you Thalia." I said. "I love you to Percy." And we just sat there for a while until Leo came and said," I hate to interrupt you two, but its time for dinner." We got up and started walking with Leo and he wouldn't stop asking questions. Just like old times when were were back home and away from here I thought.
