All of their phones buzzed, screens brightly illuminating with a notification. Class was still in session, but the teenagers didn't care anymore.
A new quest-- one that was more important than anything else.
The rewards were spectacularly high, it'd said. Handfuls and handfuls of dice, the mastermind behind it all, X, knew exactly how to manipulate their inner desires. It was entertaining, yeah?
Punch, kick, kill. Vandalism, theft, you name it-- they got it. The quests had started off simple, ones that could've been done with relative ease, to help society. It was the bait for them to bite, to become tangled in the mess.
The quests were alluring.
Once taken, there was no going back.
Bit by bit, the previously good morals of these students had flipped.
