Mama-

From what I understand, school is very, very bad. Well at least that's what the kids on the bus say. But, I have a feeling I'm going to really like it here. I've got to go, I'll tell you how it went later.

As Rosie stepped off the noisy bus, she took out her schedule and began to walk toward her first period class.

Walking through the halls was hard enough, squeezing past people and silently cussing them out. But now with 6 foot giants roaming them, it seems impossible to walk 1 foot without getting a shoulder in your face.

Shaking her head, she walked into the room smiling at who she thought was her teacher.

She sat down in the middle-front area of the classroom and took out her pencil and agenda. Rosie looked around, and waited for her classmates to arrive.

A few minutes past, but soon the class began to fill with students. The late bell rang, and a girl ran into the room. She looked out of breath, and the teacher and her shared a look. The teacher, Ms. Clark, didn't seem to care to much that she was late. She rubbed her temples and waved her off.

As cliché as it was, the only empty spot was next to our girl, Rosie.

The girl had short black hair, and brown eyes. She glanced at Rosie, and smiled at her.

Rosie was biting her lip frantically as this girl sat next to her, dumping her huge mess of a bag next to her.

She cringed at the disaster, and the girl noticed.

"I know right, isn't it awful?" She said grinning at Rosie.

Rosie quickly smiled back, her cheeks blushing in embarrassment.

"What's your name?" The strange girl said fixing her purple v-neck, and tucking her hair behind her ear.

As well as this girl looked like she had it all together, Rosie knew somewhere in her heart, she was hurting.

Her makeup was a bit rushed looking, eyes were red, and her hands shaky.

Rosie smiled at her as she said, "My name is Rosalyn, but you can call me Rosie. What is your name?"

"My name's Theo, but you can call me Theo," Theo smiled at her and the girls laughed together, earning a stern look from their teacher.

Ms. Clark stood up and walked towards the girls.

Rosie must've looked scared, so Ms. Clark told her, "Don't worry, you're not in trouble. I remember what it was to be happy and have friends once," Tears were welling up in their teacher's eyes

Rosie furrowed her brows, and Theo rolled her eyes.

"But then my ásshole boyfriend, Brad, went and screwed my life over," Tears were streaming down her face.

"I... uhh...." Rosie was plain confused, Is this how school is? It's exhausting.

"Theo.. Just tell Rodney what to do..." Ms. Clark moped back to her desk, picking up a tissue.

The girls were now hysterically laughing at their teacher, unable to hold it in.

Ms. Clark looked over, and yelled in a screechy voice, "Detention!!"
