You Weren't...

I closed my locker door to find Darling.

"Hey Rosabella," she said coldly leaning against the lockers.

"Hi Darling..." I said just as coldly. Darling and I use to be best friends, but after Cerise turned on me Darling hung out with Cerise more. Darling knew that Daring had cheated on Cerise and she knew he lied to me about it, but of course she stood by her brother.

"Daring, he really loves you. He will do anything for you, but he's heartbroken over you..." Darling said noticing my tone and loosening up a bit.

"It was his choice to ruin my best friend relationships!" I said turning away and starting to walk off to class.

Darling grabbed my shoulder. "Do you still love my brother?"

"What kind of question is that?" I said gritting my teeth.

"Just answer it," Darling said looking me deep in the eyes.

I should be able to answer the question, I should be able to say 'no'. But something inside me screamed not to. Something told me I don't have to answer the question, but I wanted to, I wanted to say 'No Darling! I don't have any feelings for your brother!' But another part of me told me 'No wait the question out.' Was it possible I still had feelings for Daring even though I thought I hadn't.

Darling shook her head like I had said my answer. "Couldn't you give him another chance?"

Then I remembered how he messed me over. "No."

"Rosabella why not?" Darling asked letting go of me.

I didn't answer I just walked away.

"Rosabella he's in so much pain!" Darling said walking next to me.

I just looked away and didn't answer.

"I never took you to be the one to leave someone out in the cold." Darling said starting to turn the other way.

I wiped around angrily, "You don't know one thing about me!"

"I know that you refuse to help my brother!" Darling said crossing her arms.

"Maybe I would help if you knew how to balance out your friends!" I growled making my hands turn to fists.

Darling looked back at me confused.

"You weren't the one left out in the cold! You weren't the one that everyone abandoned! You weren't the one that everyone thought messed up! You weren't the one that everyone refused to take at their table! You weren't the one that had your best friend leave you when you needed her most!" I yelled while wiping away my tears.

"Rosabella I'm so sorry..." Darling said approaching me.

"No your not! Your only sorry that I'm crying and making you look bad!" I yelled running away.

There is no way I'm getting back with Daring Charming.
