27: You

Billie didn't show up to school the next day.

"Where are you?"

"I was sleeping." He reply with his groggy voice.

"I'm sorry for waking you up."

"Don't be."

"Are you okay Billie?"

"Honestly no I need someone to talk too."

"Do you want me to come over?"

"Can you please." She reply her voice softer and lower than normal.

"Don't worry, I'll be there as soon as possible."

"Thank you Phillip."

"No problem."

"Phillip." Billie said as soon she open the door for him letting him step in.

"Aren't you supposed to be in school?"

"No."

"Are you okay?"

"No."

"Just hug me." Billie instructed holding her arms open.

Phillip embrace Billie into a hug.

He kiss the top of her head.

"Hold on." He warned before picking her up and taking her to her room.

"So you had a fight with your dad and like always with Elijah."

"Yes."

"What did you and your father argue about?"

"Like always about everything."

"What happened between you and Elijah?"

"We argue about his ex, his sister, my family, about him, and about me."

"Don't take this the wrong way but what do you see in that low life?"

"Why do you accept everything he does or how he treats you?"

"I don't know." Billie reply desperately.

Her hair was untamed, she was wearing a white t-shirt with blue pajama shorts.

"I call you because I don't know what to do."

Billie pulled at her hair.

"I didn't want to do anything stupid that I'll regret."

"Like what?"

"Drink, maybe kick someone's ass, or get high."

"Why would you do that?" Question Phillip shaking Billie by her shoulders.

"I'm lost and I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going."

"For college if you decide to move back home you can move in with me."

"About your father you can always talk not scream things out."

"And about that kid can always break it off."

"Everything has a solution."

Billie pout.

"Death doesn't have a solution."
