I woke up to my mom getting ready in the mirror, David sitting there waiting for her to get done.

"What time is it?" I ask, sleepily.

"8:07." David says. I just lay there, not really wanting to get up. Slowly I roll out if bed and go into the bathroom. I take out my retainers and brush my teeth, wash my face, and do light makeup which consists of concealer, BB creme, mascara and ChapStick. I take my hair of the braid and finger comb the waves, and put some mousse in my hair. I change into the outfit that I laid out last night which was a grey Kentucky loose tank, loosely tucked into my red shorts and a blue jean shirt over it, with my grey vans. I check the time and walk out. Since they were waiting on me, we left as soon as I was done. We walked to a waffle house, and noticed a few people outside, we pushed though and went to the table where Shawn and them were. We sat down at the empty seats, and ordered before holding small discussion. After eating we went to the statue of liberty and the empire state building. All the way to the top, which was really cool. Then we went shopping, which I'm not a huge fan of shopping, but I got a New York tank just like the one I have on. Of course a few people noticed Shawn, but mostly older people we're in the mall today. He wanted to go into a music store, but no one else did, but they made me go. Cool beans. We walked in and began looking around, he went to the guitars so I followed.

"Do you play any instruments?" He asked.

"No, I used to play flute, but dropped it when I get into high school. And I tried piano a fee times but never picked up on it."

"Oh cool. But vocals." He said, and I nodded. "So what grade are you in?"

"I'm a junior"

"So you haven't played flute in like 3 years?" He asks.

"Pretty much...." I trail off.

"Any particular reason why?"

"Just didn't enjoy anymore, I guess." He nods.

"That happens I guess."

"Well what about you? I know you play guitar... Any other instruments?" I ask.

"Well some piano. But that's about it. I can carry a beat." He says.

"And vocals." I say, we laugh.

"Yeah, I guess that sounded more stupid than I thought." He chuckles.

"Nah, just not the right place." We laugh.

"So do you play any sports?" He asks.

"Well I can play volleyball, but I cheer." I say. "What about you?"

"First off, cheering isn't a sport." Oh he's one of those people. "But I can play Basketball and I used to play hockey and soccer." Gross.

"We're not having this discussion." I say. "But cheering is a sport, and basketballs cools but I never caught on to Hockey."

"Oh well I guess we'll have to debate that sometime, won't we?" He smirks.

"Nah man. Cause I can tell you." I say, as we walk out.

"Whatever." He smiled. We walked back up to our families and began going to the other stores. Around 7 we headed back to our hotel, which was the same as Shawns but for some reason we never traveled together. Mom showered, David went to get dinner, and I decided to go down to the pool. I put on my swimsuit, and a T-shirt dress and walked down to the pool, that was empty. I took off my dress, plugged my phone into the jack since no one was down there, and jumped in. I had only been in there for about 10 minutes, when someone else jumped in. I turned to look and it was the one and only Shawn Mendes.
