*Alise's POV*

I wake up around 9 and begin to get ready in the hotel bathroom. I wash my face and straighten my curly hair, before doing my makeup. I decide to actually look nice today, so I use foundation and put on eyeshadow. I walk out and grab a pair of black jean shorts, a white striped t-shirt and tie a light blue jean shirt around my waist. I put on my white converse and run a brush through my hair once more, before going over to mom and David's room. I knock on the door, awaiting an answer.

"One Second!" I hear David call.

"Good Morning, Gorgeous!" I hear Shawn's voice behind me. I turn to look at him.

"Good Morning!" I Smile.

"Ready for today?" he asks. I nod, as David opens the door.

"Sorry, I was getting dressed. Your moms in the shower."  I nod, throwing myself on the edge of the bed. Mom comes out 10 minutes later, dressed.

"Ready?" She ask. We all nod and go to out the hotel to the car waiting on us. We got to a little diner, get breakfast, and then go to the mall. David's getting his wedding suit today, since their wedding is in 2 and a half months. And Shawn's gonna get his suit for prom.

"Alise, I haven't even see your dress." Mom complains. So I pull a picture of it up. "That's stunning, Alise! What shoes are you wearing?" She asks.

"Well, originally, I was gonna wear my white converse, since you couldn't see them, and I might still, but Cam made me buy a pair of heels, that I'm sure I will never wear after prom, if I even wear them to prom. And even if I don't wear the heels or my converse I have a pair of sandals that work."

"Well, how long is the dress?"

"I can wear flats, and be fine. like it drags the ground a little, but not a noticeable amount. When I wear heels, my toes show when I walk." She nods.

"If you wanna wear your converse, go for it."

"Good, I probably will." I laugh. David gets fitted for his tux, while mom and I go over to where Shawn's getting fitted. Mom and I agree that the Charcoal suit will look best, so they begin to fix it up, and fit it just right. While they work on that, mom goes and checks on David, before joining me in looking for a tie for Shawn. We settle on one, the exact color of my dress, and take it over to him. After he's fitted, he puts on the tie. "I think you look very nice. That's perfect." I say, smiling. Mom nods in agreement.

"Very Sharp, Son." David says behind us.

"Son?" I question, as Shawn walks back into the changing room, to get changed.

"Yeah, we all know that he'll be my step-son-in-law in a few years." He says, nudging my shoulder.

"What?" I ask, choking on air.

"Come on, Alise. Everyone knows y'all have something going on. I mean, you hang out any chance you get. You facetime if you're not together. You flew all the way out here to surprise him and ask him to prom. And your mother told me about y'alls kiss." I snap my head around and look at her.

"Sorry, Sweetie, We don't hide anything from each other."

"well, I don't think we have anything going on. We're just really, really good friends." I say.

"Yeah, 'Friends'" David says, putting air quotes around friends, I look down and blush. "See! She's blushing!" He says pointing at me. As Shawn and David go to pay for their suits and ties, I stand waiting at the door for them, I smile thinking to myself as I think about how we almost kissed *again* last night. We've almost kissed twice, and kissed once. He really is sweet. Maybe I should give him a chance, and if it ends, don't make a big deal out of it?
