Excuses

Erza's P.O.V

Lately Jellal and I have gotten along pretty well. I walk in to the classroom and see the usual Levy fighting with Gajeel.

"C'mon please let me just copy your notes shorty" Gajeel laughed.

"Leave me alone slime bucket." Levy answered annoyed until she saw me. "Erzyyyy!"

"Erzy...?" I asked "Why."

"Because it's cute." Jellal chuckled behind me. I turned around.

"Oh the player knows his ways with words, as expected." I grinned and went to my desk.

"Haaaah, player?! Im just a normal male with a lot of female friends! This is a serious accusation you are making.... erzy~" he said teasingly going behind me and sitting at his desk behind me.

"Shut up fuckboi." I said. He laughed as his army of females started verbally attacking me "how could you say such a thing to Jellal-kun."
Levy and Gajeel just continued fighting, Jellal started talking to his friends and I just looked out the window. The teacher entered the classroom and started teaching but I didn't pay attention because it was easy.

~ class ending ~
"Erza wanna go to the park?" Levy asked after school.

"Not today Levy, I want to go home." I answered while I stood up and took my bag. Jellal stood up and held his back over his shoulder.

"We can go home together then, since we are neighbors." He smirked.

"Great I'm so happy." I said sarcastically but blushed a little but nobody noticed.

"Shut up Erza, you know you like thi-" I started walking to the door and didnt let him finish his sentence.
"Hey! Thats rude." Jellal shouted and followed. He caught up to me and we started to walk towards the gate when we saw a black limo parked there.

"Shit." I heard Jellal cursing behind me.

"Huh? What is it?" I asked when a butler came forward to Jellal.

"What is it? The old man couldnt come himself?" He sighed. "Sorry Erza I have to leave you on your own it seems, business calls." He said apologetic.

"Good, couldn't stand going home with you anyways." I said walking away from the car. He entered the car and the car drove off. I stopped to turn around. "Hmm I wonder what all that was about" I thought then walked home.

Jellal P.O.V

~ Jellal arrives at his Fathers mansion. ~

He walks in the mansion and bows to the little memorial made for his deceased grandma. He then continues to the backyard shrine and opens it. He bows before he enters and when he raises his head he sees his father but in front of his father is a girl with black hair.... "Ultear?" I asked as I walked in and sat beside her.

"Son, you are late." My father mumbled.

"Not my fault old man, why'd you call me all of a sudden?" I asked.

"I called you to tell you that we've have chosen Ultear to be your fiancee." My father spoke.

"....... you've got to be kidding me." I looked at Ultear for some backup but she was only smiling.

"Shes your age, good grades, great looks and is suitable to be your wife when you take over the family business." He gets up and walks towards the door. "No further discussions." And closed the door.

"Jelly-kun now we can be with each other foreverrrrr" she hugged my arm, I didn't do anything because I was still in shock. "What the hell..."

Erza P.O.V

I just finished eating and went to the kitchen to wash the plates but I cooked too much. "Maybe I should give the rest to Jellal... I mean he probably hasn't eaten anything since he's a spoiled brat." I hit my face. "Am I just coming up with excuses just to meet him?! How low have I become...?"
I washed the plate and packed the remaining food in a bentou box and went out to his door and knocked.
- No answer.
I knocked again.
- Still no answer.
"Haaah he's still not home? Where the heck is he- ..... not that I care or anything.. that troublesome guy." I said annoyed and slammed my door.

(A/N: bentou box means lunch box in jp.)

Jellal P.O.V

I walked home, I needed to cool off some steam. This was outrageous.. simply too much. I reached my dorm and went up the stairs. When I walked to my door I saw something in front of my door, a lunch box with a note on top. "Huh?" I picked up the note and started reading.
"This is some food for you, its cold so heat it up before eating it... don't think I did this because I care.. I simply made to much food and couldn't eat it all so easy it before it spoils! Dumbass. - Scarlet." I chuckled then laughed and smiled. "This girl never ceases to surprise me hahaha." I laughed, took the lunch box inside and closed the door. Switched on the TV, heated the food and tasted it. "Mmmm this is delicious." I whispered smiling to myself.
