What's Happening?

Katelyn POV

I opened my eyes to find myself in my bed at home. Like really home. I sat up quickly and looked around. Everything was just how I left it. I slowly got up and looked at my hand. I was...fine. No burns, no cuts, nothing. I went to the window and stared out. I tried to wrap my head around what was going on. How much time had passed? How did I get here? Where was everyone else? "Katelyn...?" I turned to find Aphmau standing at my doorway. She was looking around my room dazed. She looked as confused as I was. I went over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me even more confused. She was fine. There was no wound where I stabbed her. I looked down and pulled my hand away. "N-nothing..." I muttered under my breath. She shook her head slightly before she asked. "Do you know how we got here?" I looked at her shocked. She didn't know? I opened my mouth before closing it again. And shook my head sadly. She sighed. "The last thing I remember was being in a hospital...then I woke up here." She stared out into space lost in thought. I was lost, confused, but all that mattered was that she was fine. We were safe.

Aphmau POV

I stared out into nothing. I had no idea what was going on and neither did Katelyn. But that's not really concerned me. She was hiding something. I could tell. Just like Aaron and Kawaii~Chan had been. She was smiling sadly and staring at the floor. Something was bothering her. I raised my hand and touched my shoulder. It didn't hurt anymore. I looked at Katelyn again. She had known about it. I mean it made since for her to know but she looked...guilty? I don't know how else to describe it but I knew that she knew more then I did. She might not know how we got here but she knew something. "Oh, there you two are!"

Katelyn POV

I quickly looked up and Aphmau turned around. Kawaii~Chan was standing there with a large grin on her face. "Kawaii~Chan was getting worried when Aphmau~Senpai and Katelyn~Sama didn't come down!" Kawaii~Chan spun on her heels and started walking downstairs. When we didn't follow she turned back to us. "What's wrong? Not going to join Kawaii~Chan?" I shuddered. Something wasn't right. I turned to Aphmau who also looked uneasy. She must have felt it as well. I slowly walked over to Kawaii~Chan Aphmau close behind me. Kawaii~Chan smiled and continued to walk downstairs. When we got downstairs she gestured for us to sit down. "Kawaii~Chan's going to make the best cookies! So wait here k?" She winked and skipped into the kitchen. I waited until the tip of her tail had vanished before I turned to Aphmau and whispered. "Does something seem....off to you?" She nodded and grabbed the remote. I noticed her hand was shaking. She turned on the TV and opened Netflix. We started watching Once Upon a Time while we waited for Kawaii~Chan. Aphmau started squeezing my hand while the smell of fresh baked cookies started flooding into the room.
Kawaii~Chan skipped back into the room. "Cookies are ready!" She announced in a cheerful voice. She was holding a tray of cookies. She walked over and handed both Aphmau and I a cookie before taking one for herself. I cautiously took a bite and was shocked at how...good it was. I quickly finished the cookie and took another. The rest tasted different from the first but I didn't really care. The three of us talked and laughed and I forgot why I was scared at first.
I was such a fool.

Aphmau POV

We were all walking back to the kitchen when Katelyn suddenly fell. I ran over and kneeled down next to her. I started to shake her telling her to stop playing around.... She didn't get up. I started to panic when I realized she wasn't breathing. Suddenly Kawaii~Chan started laughing behind me. I turned around terrified. Why was she... laughing? When she finally stopped she yelled at Katelyn who still didn't move. "It's only right that the murderer dies is it not?" She was looking at Katelyn but I could tell the question was aimed at me. "Of course... there can be no witnesses." She said while grabbing a knife. She looked at me with a sinister smile. "Farewell Aphmau~Senpai...Kawaii~Chan is sure you'll see Katelyn~Sama...In hell." I screamed as the knife cut through my heart.
