Tobin's pov
Me and Alex were walking down to breakfast and the whole team just started laughing. It kinda hurts but I guess we deserve it.
We ate and then the team for on the bus and headed to training.
Today the middies were trying to build off of the forwards so that mean me and Alex get to work together.... Yay!
We pulled up to the fields and got ready and did our ball control and warm up. Then we started running the first drill and it was overlaps. Everyone was doing great!
We then moved onto the next drill. It was kinda different because we were having the forwards act as if they just lost the ball and were trying to get it back from the middies. When it was my turn I was up against Alex. I decided that I was gonna try and nutmeg her. The whistle blew and I dribbled towards alex. Her legs were wide open so I decided to take advantage of that and pull of my nutmeg now. I pushed the ball through her legs and went to run around her when she stepped and knocked my knee inside. I fell to the ground screaming!
"My knee!!! Owww!!" I screamed. Lex grabbed my thigh and looked at my face. "Tobin, I'm really sorry. Are you alright?" "It's ok Alex. It happens, but something is seriously wrong with my knee," I say while shedding tears. Alex wipes away my tears with her knuckles and Dawn comes running to me along with Jill. "What happened Tobin?" Jill asks. "I tried to Meg Alex and she stuck her leg out and it hit my knee and my knee popped!" I yell trying to calm myself down. "I think you may have torn your acl Tobin," dawn says as she's moving my knee to see what was wrong. "I'm so sorry Tobin. I may have just ruined your career!" Alex yells and runs off the pitch.
