Alex's pov
"Baby....... I think it's uh.... Time for a serious/ important talk," I say rubbing her back. "Alex, if it's about retiring, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I love this sport! I'm young. But I think my body has had enough. I think you're right......." Tobin says to me. I nod my head in agreement. "So umm..... I think the next question is is..... Would you be ok if I retired too?" I asked. "I ummm.......... I don't know if you're ready but I want to start a family with YOU Tobin. I love you so much. And the decision is yours," I say. Tobin starts tearing up. "I'd love to baby! I love you so much!"
1 month later:
Alex's pov
Tobin and I have announced our retirement two weeks ago and Tobin's recovery has been going great! The only thing that isn't going great is me.
I'm sick. I woke up like 2 minutes ago and found Tobin was downstairs in our new apartment making breakfast. When she walked back up she also had my medicine for her knee. I kinda felt bad because she was crutching up and down the stairs but she said it was ok since she only had to use one crutch.
"Hey baby. Nice of you to wakes up," she says trying to get me to laugh. I chuckle a little bit. "Baby, do you feel alright?" Tobin asks. "No. I'm sick Toby,"
I say rolling over. "Awww. I'll play doctor for you Lex," Toby says. I smile at her because I think she's so dorky.
Did I mention that I'm pregnant. We found out 3 weeks ago. I'm due to give birth to our baby on December 25.... CHRISTMAS!!!
