****2 days later*****

Fraya felt as if time was passing way to quickly. She felt as if she were slowing dying inside. But the reality of the situation at hand had not hit her yet. She wouldn't let it. Soon she and the other 16 year olds would be clumped together by gender and brought to the demon king. And he would give us away to whoever he chooses. At least that is how she thought it went she didn't know her parents never talked about their choosing.

There was a knock upon her door and in walked her mother carrying something light and flowy. And she knew exactly what it was. Everyone had a special outfit for their choosing. Fraya knew what it was and what it looked like. The fluttering white silk belled out slightly at the hips, had no back, and the hem of the dress fell right before the knees.

"Fraya dear the females in our family have always worn his dress and I think that you will look the best in in it," she said gently laying it out on the bed.

"Thanks mom," she replied somewhat bitterly.

"Ok now since that's over I need to talk to you," she paused, "you are different special even and you are not who you think you ar-"

"I'M NOT WHO I THINK I AM? WHO AM I THEN?!!" Fraya asked furious with her mother for trying to dump something on her now.

"Never mind I shouldn't have mentioned it anyway," she muttered.

"No! You should have mentioned it earlier," Fraya was beyond angry now.

"No," her mother said closing the door quickly behind her. Fraya let out a frustrated sigh and sank to the floor. But she was more mad at herself for blowing he top at her mother, especially now. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

(Original Chapter 2)

"Fraya Lynn Willow?" the demon asks.

"Yes that is me," Fraya said hoping the terror she was feeling wasn't noticeable.

"It is time." he said without a hint of emotion.

She nodded knowing that she would never get to say goodbye. Or to even patch things up with her mother. It felt as if something was caught in her throat. Silently the demon opened the doorway. And even though it led me farther away from familiarity and from family, she couldn't help but stare at the beauty of the thing. There was streaks of colour and small scenes of other dimensions could be seen. There was a family of beings sitting on the blue grass and then the scene changed as the dimensions aligned themselves so we could pass safely through. The sight was mesmerizing. And saddening. The fact that their were other realms out there and the one we were stuck with was full of demons.

Suddenly the ground beneath me disappeared as she was shoved ruffly through. The room was an open and vast thing. Huge and darkly coloured. Unlike any colour on Earth. She landed oddly and accidentally bumped into a tall blonde girl.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry, the demon who came to my door collected me, shoved me through. I really didn't mean to hit you." Fraya said apologizing profusely.

"Whatever," she hissed pushing me away as if I were a diseased animal.

This time I landed into the arms of a rather cute blonde boy. He had floppy hair and gaunt cheeks.

"Oh I am sorry that bitchy blonde over there shoved me into you." Fraya said a bit frantically.

"It's alright I know Maize is a bit of a bitch. I had to grow up with her, we're twins." he laughed good naturedly.

"Well, oh sorry. What's your name?" she asked emboldened at his response.

"Zachary, but you can just call me Zig. Everyone does." he said grinning, "and what might your name be?"

"Fraya," she blushed slightly. He gave her an easy lopsided smile before falling silent. This left her at the mercy of her thoughts. And unsprisingly they were all focused on one thing, Zig. Who was he to make her blush? To make her feel these petty feelings. When most likely she would never see him again. No one that's who and that is why she would not think about things like how his hair falls to one side. And how silver his eyes were. NO. Bad Fraya, love doesn't exist which means love at first sight definetly does not exist.

The wall on the far side of the room opened up slowly but surely causing those who leaned up against it, causually to fall.

"Stand in line. Shortest to tallest," growlled the same demon who had pushed her through earlier. Zig was lost in the sea of bodies as he moved toward the tall part of the newly forming line. And she walked in the opposite directon to stand next to red haired girl in a pink dress.

Lights seemed to go on from where the wall used to be. There was a huge chair well a throne really, where Scarr sat. His face was marred beyond belief. The rest of the demon court sat and occasionaly one or two would lean over to discuss who they wanted. I saw a young demon in the fray scanning the line as if searching for someone. His violet eyes unnerved me. And yet they also drew me to him.

Slowly the line narrowed down. The girl Maize was chosen by Scarr himself. And to her credit she didn't even flinch as he leered down her dress front. The red head in front of me was chosen by an ugly demon with a bushy beard and unforgiving black eyes.

The humanoid one was suddenly in front of me. His purple eyes boring into me. As if they could see directly into my soul. His sideswept black hair reminded me of Zig. But it seemed to me as if this demon wore it better. He didn't look as old as some of the younger demons. It was all I could do to hope that he wasn't one of the old old ones who could do a really good glamour.

"I choose this one." the demon said grabbing my wrist as if I were property. Scarr just nodded not real paying any attention.

"Come girl," the demon growled.

"Fine, bu t don't you dare call me girl that is NOT and never will be my name." she snarled. And he nodded rolling his eyes as if he were amused. She wanted to yell and scream at him. But she knew she couldn't. It would give him satisfaction and it might get her killed. They walked  out of the room and down a hallway. Though it soon becam evidince that they were not going back to Earth. So she took the chance to look at the halls as she passed through them. The walls the ceiling and the floor all seemed to be made of black obsidian. The only light source came from blue hellfire torches. Making the entire structure creepier than it was intitially.

After the first 20 turns she gave up trying to find her way or finding a means of escape. And anyways she reasoned. Even if I managed to escape from this castle, how in the world am I supposed to get off of this godforsaken planet.

After what seemed like hours to Freya but was probably only a few minutes they reached a door made of what seemed to be cherry wood. They entered and it became clear that this was his rooms. It was surprisingly painted a light green colour and there was a big bed on the right wall. The other room was obviously lived in and likely lived in by my demon.

"What's your name?" he asked gruffly.

"Fraya Willow. And yours?" She asked.

"Gaige is ruffly what my name translates to and it's what you will call me." He said stiffly.

"This," he pointed to the green room, "is your dwelling." He spoke like someone from those books my dad loves, well he did, sort of. Not nearly as old fashoined but close very close.

"Thanks," I said somewhat resentfully.

"Your training begins tommorow," he said his voice softening slightly before he shut me in my room.

"Fan-fucking-tastic," I grumbled, "training what the hell does that mean? Mom and Dad never got trained for this shit."

I sat on the bed which wasw unbelivebly soft. THAT at least was a good thing. Looking over I saw a wardrobe of  clothes. It was made of mahogany, a rare expensive wood these days.

Sighing I laid back still iin my choosing dress. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was fast asleep.
