In the beginning of the end people knew what was happening, in genral at least. They knew the world was ending. The how and why were two very different things. And actually in the great commune book, which is still a living document, there were two hows and two whys. Picture this 2021 North Korea still thereating the U.S. whith nuclear bombs and China threatning Europe the Middle East is still healing from the recent warring. And Japan is in the middle not taking any sides. North Korea decides that they've waited long enough, and they fire their nukes. The U.S. is hit people die, they have no choice but to fire back at least in the heat of the moment that's what the entire coulntry thought. China follows suit and fires into Europe, Europe is angry and saddend simioltamisly for the loss. Their symbolic aristocrats are dead. The U.S. and Europe fire blindly back not heeding the consequences of their actions. Both Koreas' are quickly obliterated and China surrenders. But now everyone left alive is suffering and dying. The Earth is slowly deterorating and dying. Everything is laid to waste. Animials are sickly and so are the childeren being born durling this time, the elderly are dying faster, life expectancy drops dramatically.
The surviovors united to try to fix everything, a vain attempt to try to shove back together what was broken. But to no avail. What they did is something that is debatedly worse. They were looking for something anything that could save us. They managed to open a doorway into another realm. One already inhabited by other creatures. Dark creatures of shadow lurked there, the demons and their kind. Of course they didn't know that what they did was the worst and best thing they could do for mankind.
The demon's king Scarr greeted them with open arms. And they were awed by all the demons seemingly had. Soon they were completly enraptured with the demons. And they asked if there was any possible way to save human kind. And Scarr said that there was. He just needed to have unlimited access to Earth and he wished to be the king of Earth. The survivors quickly agreed and the deal that will change the fate of the world as it was once known.
That, was how it began.
And I'm sure I won't see the end of it.
