"Facing death head on?"
"We're not facing death, we're destroying it..."

Darkness surrounds my sight. I can hear the sound of metal hitting things and guns being shot. But I couldn't open my eyes or even stand up, so I continued to lay there for what felt like hours until I felt something warm hit my face, I didn't know what it was but I was able to regain my sight and I saw the creature laying flat on the ground dead and covered in blood. Everyone started to celebrate but it was too early, as if they had forgotten about the second creature. Stomping and stomping while we all look in horror seeing the thing just grab us one by one. The horror of seeing us being thrown across the room and seeing weapons flying all over the place and I couldn't do anything. I felt a hand reach over and grab me on the shoulder and then took me back to the corner but me being so weak I couldn't see who it was. Soon I heard shouting and more swords clashing onto something and more gun shots. Eventually hearing screaming, and I just shut my eyes as hard as I could but then the noise stopped. Everything was quiet. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the outline of a little boy, just running around. I followed him as he got farther from me and soon grass appeared and I saw a park, full of kids. He little boy jumped onto the playground and then more like little boys came and they all sat down and talked to one another and then I realized it was me and the others. I was so confused and I walked towards them and then they all turned around with their backs facing me and continued talking, I tapped on one of their shoulders and they all stared at me with blood shot eyes and they all walked towards me and I fell and lost my vision again. When I woke up this time I saw blood all over the room and then I saw the body of the second creature laying there dead, and all the guys passed out on the floor. I stood up and woke everyone up one by one and let them know that they defeated the monsters and they all stood up and looked in disbelief, after a while we all celebrated and jumped into the air. We burned the bodies to make sure and walked home, once we got home we realized that we had many injuries.
We all just patched ourselves up and rested until the next morning, once we woke up everything felt normal, no worrying or anything and we all went to our homes to check on our families, once we knew they were ok we all hung out and the rest of the day was normal, then night came and we all went to sleep safe and sound with no noise but darkness as we closed our eyes...
