You and Jae fight over the last Pokémon game

"I can't believe we got here late, if there aren't any games left I'm going to scream" You drag your brother behind you as you run towards the game store that was a few blocks down your house
"Y/N we aren't late, calm down" Your brother tries to get out of your grip but you don't let go since you know he'll end up running away just to make you even more annoyed.
"I'm not about to miss out on buying this new game like what happened when X and Y came out. Nope, not today buddy" Your brother eyes you and starts to regret ever getting you into Pokémon when you were younger
"We're finally here!" When you reach the store you finally let go of his arm and run right inside.
"C'mon where the heck is it?" You had circled the store at least twice and couldn't find the game that you were looking for until you spot it at the very back of the large store.
"Gosh finally" When you reach out for the game and grab one end of it another hand does the same, making your annoyance rise even more
"Hey let go buddy" When you look up to see who was trying to take your game you have to crane your neck since they were a few inches taller than you. Your mouth goes dry when you see an attractive boy with perfect lips and glasses on staring down at you with a confused look
"Um are you seriously here to buy this?" He asks you and you stop staring at him to instead look at him with an annoyed look
"Obviously I am, or I wouldn't be here now would I?" You tug the game towards you but he doesn't release it and you think of the possibilities of hitting him in the crotch and making a run for it to pay before he can get up again
"Look this is the last game, I got here late from practice can't you just give it up?" He pouts at you and bats his eyelashes for emphasis but you just continue to try and pull the game out of his grasp.
"C'mon can't you just buy your brother another game or something?" He whines and you have to stop yourself from hitting him across the face
"Well first of all, that was very stereotypical. Second of all, I'm buying this game for myself and I was here first so hand it over"
The mystery boy frowns again and is slightly embarrassed over the fact that he said you were buying the game for your brother. He thought he had learned from past experience that a girl in game stores wasn't something he saw every day.
Meanwhile, when you were about to tear mystery guy a new one your brother was getting something to eat when he spotted someone holding a guitar in his hands standing outside of the shop where you had run off to
"That's nice, do you play?" Your brother was much friendlier than you were so he decided to have someone to talk to until you came out
"Ah I do but this isn't mine, I'm holding it for a friend while he goes and buys his game or whatever" Your brother nods and looks back to the store wondering why you were taking so long if you knew exactly what you were going to buy. As time passed 4 other boys joined the guy holding the guitar in his hand asking him what was taking their band mate so long. After a while they all decide to go inside and look for the both of you.
When they make it to the middle of the store is when your brother hears your voice and you don't sound happy at all
"What is she doing now?" Your brother groans and rushes off to stop you from getting kicked out of the store.
"Jae what are you doing?"
"Y/N what are you doing?" Two voices snap you out of the heated argument that you were having with the tall stranger that wanted to take your game
"He's trying to take my game when I clearly grabbed it first!" You say and your brother gives you a look before rubbing his face in frustration
"Y/N are you serious?" Your brother sounds annoyed and this makes you even more upset than you already are.
"You know what? Here, have the dang game. Let's go home" You shove the game towards the boy and glare at him before grabbing your brother's arm and stalking out of the store
"I don't understand why you're so upset" Your brother says from behind you and you continue to walk away from the scene, not bothering to reply to him
"Hey wait!" You hear a voice behind you and you recognize it as the voice of the boy from earlier so you don't bother to stop until you feel someone grabbing onto your arm, stopping you from walking any further
"Why are you so hard headed Y/N? Just listen to what the guy has to say" Your brother grabs onto your arm so you don't run off on your own and soon enough mystery boy was standing in front of you with the game in his hands
"Hey I felt bad about the whole thing so I thought I might as well stop acting like a three year old and give it to you" He smiles at you for the first time since you had run into each other and you find yourself at a loss for words. He holds the game out to you and when you don't reach out to grab it yourself your brother thanks him and grabs it for you.
Before you can say anything he runs off with a smile on his face towards his friends. Your brother starts laughing next to you and you look up at him as he shows you the already paid for game with the receipt in his hand
"Looks like your day didn't turn out as bad as you thought" He has a huge grin on his face as he hands you the receipt
"You've got to be kidding me" You laugh when you see that the boy who you know knew was Jae had written his number on the paper along with a small message
'Sorry about earlier, you know how boys feel about their games. Let me make it up to you by taking you out for some coffee soon?' -Jae
