Blue Eyes Behind the Bloody Cross

Chapter 2

As we drove towards the mall i began to zone out as i stared out of the car window watching as people, buildings, trees and such pass by like flying colors from a picture book. The Phoenix town mall finally appeared as Katelyn parked the car in the parking lot a bit far from the mall since the front that was closer to the mall entrance was all full. Getting out of the car, we began to walk inside of the mall in silence since Katelyn was pretty much leading us to where we are supposed to meet up with another guy.

"So Katelyn, how's everything with you know who~"

Aphmau asked as she stretched out the word who while wiggling her eyebrows in a teasing way towards her pastel blue haired friend. Katelyn just gave a small but visible pink blush as her frown turned into a small shy smile.

"Everything been amazing so far since we got back together, i'm pretty happy"

Aphmau gave a small delighted squeal in a way of victory.

"I knew you two would get together again!! You both are just so~o cute together"

As the girls continued to chit chat about some guy, we made it too an arcade as Katelyn giddily walked up behind some guy wearing a green shirt, he was a bit built so he may go to the gym once and awhile, he wore black jeans with a little grey and light blue striped scarf that went wrapped around his waist at the counter as she wrapped her arms around his mid waist being a bit shorter then him.

"I know that giggle from anywhere, hey my little firecracker how you've been?"

The guy turned around as his green eyes looked down at Katelyn with loving care as he wrapped his arms around her upper body.

"Jeffory, I've been doing ok how about you?"

"I've been doing great but, it's a bit hard when you are not around to keep me on my toes"

They both chatted for a bit until they both broke apart as the guy i think his name is jeffrey went over to Aphmau giving her a friendly hug until turning towards me.

"Hello there, we meet again don't we mister detention guy!"

He held out his hand as i took it and gave a shake as i gave him a small confused face until finally i remembered who he was. Jeffory the guy from highschool who was in charge of monitoring and keeping an eye on the students whom gotten detention and sadly i was one of those who had gotten into detention multiple times until Aphmau came along.

"Ah, good to see you again 'i think'"

I said mumbling the last part. I never really understood this guy from the start, he was too happy and cheerful and nothing seemed to bother him much, not to mention that he did kind of make things a bit hard for me to cope with my enemies such as that wolf named Balto and the shadow-knight gang member Gene.

"Well, since we are here in the arcade, should we play a little, get lunch and then head for the Church?"

Aphmau asked as Jeffrey and Katelyn nodded their head as i gave a short nod as she smiled and gave us thumbs up.

"Great, what should we play right now??"

"How about we get some tokens first and new neat games they installed in this place"

Jeffory suggested as we all agreed and went over to the booth guy as we payed him to give us each 20 tokens for $10.

Walking around i found a game that was called "Need for Speed", it was a racing game. Shrugging my shoulders, i took one token and placed it into the coin slot as i took my seat in front of the game machine as the screen lit up with the symbol of the game play. I heard a shuffling behind me as they took a seat next to me as i looked over to who it was.
