I know I'm behind in updates for all my stories, but luckily the previous chapter of Succumb was already written, so I could just publish it. I'm almost done with my exams, and then this summer I'll have lots of time to make up for the due updates.
Meanwhile, do me a favour (*please*) and check out my other stories, if you haven't read them already:
The Precipice
When Asherah opened her eyes for the first time in her life, it was to the knowledge that she was the very foundation on which a whole civilization of species fluctuated; without her, the only water spirits to have survived the Dark Ages would suffer and gradually perish.
When her best friend, Eugene, doesn't return to the timeless realm of Encante, she knows that something has happened to him. In a foolish attempt to search for him, she goes to the surface, the very place water spirits once inhabited. There she meets a seemingly ignorant human who flares her beacon brighter than any other male has ever accomplished - at least for a while. As Asherah hadn't been there when the water spirits escaped to Encante, she doesn't realise just how dangerous Ashore is until she's under a cruel creature's mercy.
Asherah is now beginning to comprehend just how much it sucks to be the foundation of Encante; either she will save the freaking realm - or she'll destroy the only world she's ever known.
Reach into Asherah's mind to experience a journey that bypasses every boundary she's ever crossed. Will it be a mysterious human who pitches her whole world on its axis, or will a certain dark water spirit thrust her off the precipice?
Only one way to find out...
Elusive
Being a magical being among mythical creatures isn't as exciting as it sounds. Phoenix knows this, as do all of her kind. As soon as the supernatural world knows of her presence, the shit will hit the fan. Wars will be held to win her. Hunters will relentlessly chase her, and more importantly, power-hungry monsters will seduce her.
Her race is on the verge of extinction, caused by the uprising between other races determined to claim her... and her power. Throw in the fact that she is a half-breed, and you get a concoction of chaos.
Because that means Phoenix already belongs to a particular race, one that she would sacrifice her blood to avoid, especially when a certain werewolf takes a very serious - and terrifying - interest in her.
Is there a lesser between two evils? Yes.
Will she choose the lesser of the two evils? Yes.
Can she keep this up?
No...
Join Phoenix where she discovers her so-called powers, travel with a fey king, run away from a werewolf prince and sacrifice everything to fall in love. Her life couldn't get more exciting...
An Arrogator's Dominance
Since a terrible incident two years ago, Azalea was forced to part from her mother in an attempt to stay hidden. Nothing else mattered but family, but soon Azalea realises that her family isn't the only thing that is being hunted. When a rugged, handsome stranger decides that she is worthy prey, she has all the more reason to flee. The only problem is that the only safe place for her to retain her freedom would be to dig her own grave - too bad she doesn't even get the time to do it.
Now she must face the consequences unwittingly set into motion when a pack discovered her presence, driving her on a journey of fear, desire, and the hunt.
I really need some support, guys. Give my stories a chance (or two, by voting, or three, by commenting).
Anyway, I'll see that I get my ass working as soon as my vacation starts!
